ZERO Ozone Depletion Minimum Global Warming The project The LIFE+ K-12 project aims to demonstrate the feasibility of an innovative polyurethane (PU) insulation technology for improving 30% thermal insulation and 20% energy efficiency of households’ cold appliances while having an energy saving in the refrigerator industrial production process up to 50%, and applying the novel insulation material with a zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and minimum Global Warming Potential (GWP). Aim of the project is to contribute to the European Union’s goals of creating an energy- efficient economy mitigating the threat of global warming. Il progetto Il progetto LIFE K-12 mira a dimostrare la fattibilità di una tecnologia isolante innovativa con poliuretano (PU) per migliorare del 30% l’isolamento termico di elettrodomestici del freddo, e del 20% la loro efficienza energetica, sfruttando un processo di produzione industriale con risparmio energetico fino al 50%, ed applicando il nuovo materiale isolante a ZERO impatto sull’ozono (ODP) e basso Effetto Serra (GWP).
