A WORD FROM THE SUPERVISOR...William M. Mayer

Hello Friends,

I cannot believe it’s that time of year again, but I want to be one of the first to wish you “Happy Holidays!” One of the greatest things about our community is the diversity of our residents, so no matter which holidays you are celebrating this year, know that the Levy Center is here to celebrate with you.

The staff and elected officials at DuPage Township are tirelessly “Working for You”… RIGHT NOW! We are able to collaborate with community organizations to provide you with many FREE programs, such as MEALS ON WHEELS, ENERGY ASSISTANCE , and A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH WILL COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES SATELLITE OFFICE AT THE TOWNSHIP. I encourage all of you to take advantage of these services, and reach out to the Levy Center if there are any additional services you need.

I had so much fun at the Halloween party! We saw some very creative costumes this year. I was impressed! I especially liked all of the 60s costumes I saw. The trustees enjoyed looking at pictures from the event, as well!

We also had a GREAT job fair! Many unemployed residents were able to make connections with various companies in and around our community. We thank all of our community partners for showing up!

I was so sorry to have missed the Hawaii trip. From the stories I’ve heard and the pictures I’ve seen, it looks like you guys had a great time! I am hoping I will be able to make it on the next trip. I have always wanted to go to Memphis… maybe we can go there next year!

From my family to yours, I wish you the very best Christmas and the happiest New Year!!

TIME: 4:30 PM FEE: $1 LIMIT: 40Born of fire, tested by ice, confirmed by legions of loyal guests each day, LongHorn Steakhouse® has grown to become the undisputed home for great steak done right. By 1990, the restaurant had spread throughout the East, Midwest and Southwest United States and Puerto Rico. In 2007, the restaurant, now called LongHorn Steakhouse, was purchased by Darden Restaurants, Inc.They strive to be the best steakhouse in everything they do. One visit and you’ll experience the grill master’s Legendary Steaks like their center-cut Flo’s Filet or Prime Rib.
