THE LAST DAYS OF THE REPUBLIC

It is a dark time for the GALACTIC REPUBLIC.Fifteen years ago the JEDI CIVIL WAR began with theredemption of the Dark Lord, DARTH REVAN. Withhis help, the jedi were able to gain the upper hand inthe war, culminating in the destruction of Revan'sSTAR FORGE and the death of his apprentice,DARTH MALAK. For a brief time there was peace,but when Master Revan left for the Unknown Regionsto investigate an immanent threat, a terrible trio of SithLords used his absence to descend upon the galaxy.

The new Dark Lord, DARTH NIHILUS, and hisapprentice, DARTH SION, began the FIRST JEDIPURGE, an extermination of all Force Users both lightand dark. Together, they slaughtered most of theremaining jedi masters at the MASSACRE OFKATARR. Sith assassins killed thousands of jediknights and forced the survivors into hiding, afraid toreveal themselves and be executed. Forced to seeknew allies, the LAST JEDI, an exile, teamed withMANDALORE and destroyed Darth Nihilus's ship, theRAVAGER, with him aboard. The event brought theremaining jedi masters to Dantooine, where the trueDark Lord, DARTH TRAYA, revealed herself and slewthem all. Tracking her to the dying planet of MalachorV, the Exile defeated Traya and Sion, breaking thehold of the Sith on the galaxy.

A decade after the death of Darth Traya, MasterBASTILA SHAN was sent to Malachor V to destroyany remnants of the Sith Academy. Once anapprentice to Darth Malak, she was unable to resistthe temptation of the Dark Side and fell a second time.Now known as DARTH GAEA, she claimed the title of

DARK LORD OF THE SITH and began calling darkjedi to her cause. Aboard the EBON HAWK, AdmiralCARTH ONASI took the rest of his former allies,MISSION VAO, ZALBAAR, and T3-M4, to theUnknown Regions to find Master Revan in hopes thathe could again return Bastila to the light. Although thePurge left the Core Worlds without many trained forceusers, the LOST JEDI have trained any forcesensitives they could find in the ways of the Force. Atwar with a New Sith Order, a growing Mandalorianthreat, and the omnipresent crime lords of theExchange, the Republic can only hope it still standswhen its heroes return….
