LOWER LAKES BIOREMEDIATION AND REVEGETATION PROJECT
The aims of the project are:-
Providing ecosystem stability and resilience
Stabilising sand, dust and soil movement
Helping manage acid sulfate soils through bioremediation
Improving biodiversity

FENCING SHORELINES
Two project officers appointed by LAP Boards
Terry Sim based at Hub and Ken Strother based at Meningie
Eligible landholders may receive up to $6000 per kilometre for lake shore fencing to protect exposed soils and revegetation trial sites from the impact of livestock
So far over 30 landholders have applied for funding
