~The Komodo Dragon~

~What Does it look like?~

The Komodo dragon looks like a huge lizard! IT has scaly skin that is often a tannish, brownish color.

~What Does it eat?~

The komodo dragon will eat any mammal, but mostly deer. It could eat us, but most likely it won’t. (I hope).

~Where does it live?~

The komodo dragon lives on komodo island, which is in Indonesia.

~how does it protect itself?~

The komodo dragon has very sharp claws, which he uses for fights.

~How does it raise its’ babies?~

The komodo dragon hides its’ babies in trees, so no other animals can take it for a meal.

~What are other interesting facts?~

Even thought the komodo dragon has very noticeable ears, it does not have a very good hearing sense. It can only hear sounds between 200 and 400 hertz.
