2A Shhh...elf!

Paper Bouquet

NEED: tissue paper, scissors, crayons, pipe cleaners

1. Cut eight 3.5 inch squares out of the tissue paper.

2. Using the side of a crayon, color along two opposite edg

of each square.

3. Place one of the squares on a flat surface with the colore

edges at the top & bottom.

4. Starting at the top, pleat (.5 inch wide) the squares as if

making a fan. Repeat with other squares.

5. For the stem, bend a pipe cleaner 1.5 inches from an en

to form a hook.

6. Without unfolding, stack the pleated squares on top of

each other.

7. Place the stack inside the hook and twist the hook aroun

the stem.

8. Finally, twist the petals a half turn near the stem.
