On Friday, May 9, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre will be transformed with into a spectacular space of fine dining and mesmerizing Jazz. The Jazz Legacy Gala with performances by Dianne Reeves Starts at 6:00 p.m.. Reeves is one of the foremost female Jazz vocalists in the world today. During the Jazz Legacy Gala, Jazz 91.9 WCLK will pay tribute to people and organizations that have made strides in Jazz by recognizing their efforts with the: Jazz Legacy, Jazz Preservation and Community Advocacy Awards. A delectable dinner will be served. Each table will be dressed with two bottles of sparkling wine compliments of Korbel California Champagne. Following the dinner party, the signature Jazz 91.9 WCLK anniversary concert will feature Jazz Great, George Benson. Benson will play all his trade mark hits, classics and news songs from his album, Inspiration. Spend this very special evening with us in celebration of 40 years of Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta’s Jazz Station.
