The Future of INTEGRA

CONFERENCE INTEGRAEIGSI, La Rochelle, 23 May 2013 The Integra Network and the future of Integra : trends and policies

Revenues are necessary to ensure our independence and autonomy …

Revenues are needed to cover our fixed costs in each country …

Revenues are needed to help financing our actions and developments …

INTEGRA is a non-profitable EuropeanEntity, with no profitable goals ...

This does not mean that INTEGRA should not have revenues …

Do we need Revenues?

CONFERENCE INTEGRAEIGSI, La Rochelle, 23 May 2013 The Integra Network and the future of Integra : trends and policies

How can we obtain Revenues?

Business Model (still open - ideas)

1. Base structure in each country can be supported by low cost flat rates: Between 100/200 members, all paying a small annual

fee ... To face local fixed costs and general expenses.

2. INTEGRA Research & Developments: Supported by R&D applications/projects;

What is the value of a network with 50 members (for the moment), from several backgrounds, in 5 different EU countries?

Supported by Integra funding (like crowd funding,

only for members, with property rights guaranteed).

CONFERENCE INTEGRAEIGSI, La Rochelle, 23 May 2013 The Integra Network and the future of Integra : trends and policies

3. Peer agreements sponsored by INTEGRA or within INTEGRA framework

4. Advertising in INTEGRA tools & services

5. Development of profitable shared instruments with members, like web pages linked directly to INTEGRA tools

CONFERENCE INTEGRAEIGSI, La Rochelle, 23 May 2013 The Integra Network and the future of Integra : trends and policies

6. Selling of data (only) for profitable uses by third parties, like smart phone applications ...

7. Crowd funding for open data initiatives to implement global improvements

CONFERENCE INTEGRAEIGSI, La Rochelle, 23 May 2013 The Integra Network and the future of Integra : trends and policies

On November we will have the 1st INTEGRA PT conference, held in Lisbon … you are all invited

We expect to have the INTEGRA PT Association effectively working during 2014

Develop local strategies in each country;

Network targets > 100 members / 200 members …

Alliances and cooperation with other initiatives, like Spain & Portugal CiViNetNetwork

What must be our future strategies?
