- Train operational team and temporarily run this Geoportal internally to prepare standard operations.- Take over software maintenance and evolution.- Complete features that were not in the contract (e.g. harvesting of additional countries, workarounds, replacing ECAS mockup by real ECAS service etc.).- Publish the software as open source

INSPIRE Geoportal v2

- Deploy the system in an operational environment

- Streamline performance and potentially simplify user interaction.

- Nominal operation including helpdesk to the data/service providers.

- Validator and harvester:

- A reference validator is under development in MIG subgroup and will be used

by the Geoportal. See subsession “INSPIRE Validation , Conformance and Interoperability

Testing” at 10:00 in this room

- Increase the capabilities and flexibility of the Geoportal to deal with metadata

issues (e.g. links between services and datasets are problematic: URL’s points to

datasets metadata in the local respositories instead of to the harvested metadata).

- Increase usability, e.g. access to services requiring login

- Integrate monitoring and reporting dashboard

- Analyze support for end-user applications (API’s)
