We drove through Livingston and turned

back towards the mountains to get to

Granny’s Cabin. We passed a meadow that

had what I thought was a wolf, but was

later assured that it was a neighbors’ pet.

There was a nice fat deer in the area too.

Granny’s Cabin is a wonderful place

completely off the grid.

The next morning we watched the

sunrise from Granny’s then drove back

to Bozeman and then to the Spanish

Creek area. Spanish Creek is on the

eastern side of the Gallatin Divide and

also gets water from the Divide

snowmelt. Blaze Mountain is adjacent to

the Gallatin Divide. We passed several

herds of buffalo along the way. The road

dead ends at several trailheads. Some are

frequented by horsemen.

Hyalite Creek with the Yellowstone

River.

Granny’s Cabin overlooks the

Yellowstone River. We leave

Granny’s on 12July2019 and

drive south. We find delicious

pastries and coffee at the

Wildflower Bakery.

We passed through Gallatin and the

into Yellowstone NP by waterfalls

and Mammoth Hot Springs.

This guy was trotting down the

road in Yellowstone and seemed

unimpressed with the cars passing

by. Then another drive by the

Tetons on the way to Pinedale.
