Small Groups

A changed life doesn’t happen on accident. It only happens on purpose.

Connect with a small group of people like you who are learning to live out their faith in the context of community. In

a small group you can experience spiritual growth for you and your family as you build friendships with others. A small group will help you feel more at home at LSCC while having

a bunch of fun too!

Don’t sit and watch in the crowd, join a group!

Wednesdays, beginning January 7th @ 7:00PM in the Summit Room.

WBG or Wednesday Bible Group will be following the Sunday sermon series The Story. Come as you are on Wednesday evenings to

the Summit Room as we unpack The Story in an informal small group discussion. Bring your Bible, your copy of The Story and a friend or two. This will be a time to ask questions and probe a bit deeper into God’s word. A great time for fellowship over a cup of coffee and some snacks.

Contact Alan Hannaford at [email protected] or 360.886.8045 for more information and to schedule childcare in advance.

Wednesday Bible Group //

Wednesday mornings, beginning January 7th @ 9:30AM - 11:30AM

in MOD 3. $20. Childcare provided.

This study is in progress, but new people can join at any time. “Children of the Day” sheds light on the relationships shared by those

who comprise the church. Just as the New Testament believers carried the Spirit of God as they walked through life, we carry that light today also. Together we will explore walking in that light.

We will be starting a new study in January called “Women of the Word,” an inductive study about selected women featured in the Bible; those who were faithful and those who blew it, all of them living under God’s amazing grace.

Have you had people tell you, you need to have a quiet time, but they don’t know how busy your life is, nor do they tell you what that might entail? Others ask you how your

prayer life is, and you can’t remember the last time you prayed without falling alseep. How about needing to memorize scripture? And you are thinking to yourself, “Don’t they understand I can’t even remember my times tables?!” Seek God First, the first in a series of Bible studies created for First Place 4 Health, will help you explore the importance of surrendering your mind, body, emotions, and soul to Jesus. Through daily study and prayer, you will discover how to center your life on Christ, overcome temptation, and find true satisfaction in pleasing God. Lasting change from the inside out begins when we seek God first!
