Manny Chao and Roger Bialous are the founders and owners of Georgetown Brewing Company. Since 2002, they have been brewing some of the darn tastiest beer in the Pacific Northwest. Up until May of 2017 they were draft only, making Georgetown

the largest draft only brewery in the US. They now produce several beers in cans, which are available in the back of the

ballroom courtesy of Georgetown Brewing! In addition to being purveyors of a fine product, Manny and Roger are also incredible philanthropists, giving to a multitude of worthy causes. RMHC is near and dear to their hearts, and since 2006 they have been

brewing a specialty beer called Bob’s Brown Ale, which is named after Bob Hirsch, a former Ronald McDonald House resident. The beer honors and celebrates Bob, and is released in a limited quantity on Bob’s birthday, May 14th. All proceeds from Bob’s

Brown Ale benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Western Washington & Alaska. So far, the campaign has raised

more than $800,000 for the House.

Ronald McDonald House Charities has been close to our hearts at Georgetown for the past 12 years and we’re proud of our partnership.

Tonight we’ve come together to not only celebrate a great organization in our community that makes such a difference for families when they need it most, but to make sure that they have the support they need from all of us to take care of the families who need it the most.

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a home to over 1,000 fami-lies a year who have to come to Seattle or Anchorage so that their children are able to receive the medical care they need. These families face so many challenges when they arrive -- a child fighting a potentially life-threatening diagnosis, being away from family and friends, mounting financial wor-ries and the need to keep the family strong and together through a tough time. Each one of these families, once they walk through the doors of one of our Ronald McDonald Houses, has an immediate support group and a clean, safe place to call home for as long as they need it. That makes us very proud to be a part of such important work.

At Georgetown, making contributions to our community is just as im-portant as making great beer. We’ve sponsored an annual fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities for the past 12 years and it’s become a special part of our culture. Our team is very proud of our support of seriously ill children and their families. We are very honored to be here tonight, joining all of you to make sure that Ronald McDonald House Charities is well supported by the community for the children and fami-lies they serve.

Honoree.

Columbia Distributing has supported RMHC since 2006 by partnering with Georgetown Brewing to host the annual Bob’s

Brown Ale fundraiser. For the past five years they have also held an annual golf tournament fundraiser to further support RMHC and have cooked dinners for families at the Seattle House. We are very

grateful to Columbia Distributing for their long standing support and commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities and the families

who need our support.

The Fred Shultz Honoree program was established in the name of former board member and long-time friend of the House, Fred Schultz.

Be sure to visit the Wine Ring Toss, sponsored by Spawn Ideas. Wine bottles will be arranged on tables near the entrance to the ballroom. Using your bid number, purchase rings to toss. One ring is $10 and

three rings are $25. The object of the game is to toss a ring around the neck of the wine bottle. If you “ring” one, you get to take it home! All

wine bottles have a minimum value of $30 and some are valued as his as $200. There is no limit to the amount of rings you can purchase.

Heads or TailsTonight we will be playing Heads or Tails in the ballroom and the more

people who play the more fun it will be! Chances to win are $20 and you can purchase them from ticket sellers during the cocktail reception. The last person standing will win dinner for two at The Butcher’s Table and a

one-night stay at Hotel Andra.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® ofWestern Washington & Alaska

At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska, we support seriously ill children and their families.

At our facilities in Seattle and Anchorage, we provide a“home-away-from-home” for families during the most difficult time in their lives.

At each House, we provide a warm and welcoming community; volunteer-led activities and meals; fully-stocked kitchens and pantries; play areas; laundry facilities; and so much more.

The Anchorage House

The Ronald McDonald House at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) is the first-ever Ronald McDonald House in Alaska. It opened in January 2017.

With 34 rooms, it provides a cozy home for expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies, pediatric patients, and their families.

The Seattle House

The Seattle House serves families whose children are being treated at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Our facility has 80 rooms (including 10 individual apartments for bone marrow

transplant patients) and is within walking distance of the hospital.

Looking to the Future:A Planned Expansion for the

Seattle Ronald McDonald House!

At RMHC, we never stop looking for ways to help more families. To that end, we are purchasing a neighboring property so we can expand our Seattle House by at least 20 family bedrooms.

We have operated for several years with a long waiting list every night and have to turn away several hundred families each year. We are excited to be able to serve more families, and we hope you will join us next year as we work to raise the funds needed for the expansion.

The values listed are estimates only and are not warranted for tax purposes of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted.

2. All Purchases are final. There are no exchanges or refunds. Items are not intended for resale.

3. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item. In the silent auction, if you receive a text confirming that you are the highest bidder, you must purchase the item.

4. Unless otherwise noted, all items and services must be used within one year of October 14, 2017. Out of respect for the donors, please do NOT ask for extensions. Reservations for trips and vacations must be mutually arranged with the donor unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be allowed on travel packages for cancelled tickets and/or accommodations.

5. All dinners are for the number of guests noted only, exclude tax, gratuity and no additions or changes of dates will be possible.

6. All accommodations require reservations and are based on availability.

7. All airline ticket vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangable. We ask that you be flexible in your travel dates and make your arrangements well in advance.

Paying and Picking UpYour Purchases

Quick Check To speed up your check out process, you may choose to use our Quick Check option. At registration, you will need to give the Quick Check volunteers your Visa, Mastercard or American Express card which they will swipe and file for later check out. Please double check the address we have on file, as that is where your receipt will be mailed.

If you choose to Quick Check, once the Live Auction has started, volunteers will be running silent and live auction item receipts to your table. When the auction has concluded, proceed to the Item and Certificate Pick Up Room and hand your invoice(s) to a volunteer. Your invoice(s) will state that you are a Quick Check customer and the volunteer will gather your certificates and/or items for you.

If you choose not to Quick Check, when the live auction has concluded, proceed to the Check Out/Cashiers room to receive your printed invoice. Once you have paid, the bankers/cashiers will stamp your invoice as paid and you may then pick up your certificates and/or items.

You may pick up your items from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Check Out Room. If you do not pick up your items on Saturday night, they will be transported to RMHC. You must then make arrangements to pick them up at a later date.
