Our group project is to revive Redhook by rebrand-ing the city as a sustainable place. Through under-standing the effects of Sandy and Redhook as a community-oriented city, innovation is the key our group will use to rebrand Redhook. From a talk show to annual events, supporting local busi-nesses and even a fashion line, our innovative ideas for a sustainable Redhook derive from local-izing Redhook for Redhook.

Restore Red Hook raises funds to assist small businesses that have been aected by Hurricane Sandy. Restaurants, food shops, bars, bodegas, vintage shops, and many others are part of Restore Red Hook's's coalition of small businesses. These small businesses are what dene the Red Hook community, however, ood insur-ance does not cover most of these small businesses. Consequently the goal of Restore Red Hook is to raise inside and outside funds to help rebuild these busi-nesses and subsequently rebuild the Red Hook community and neighborhood. Restore Red Hook provides fast cast options that will go to these small busi-nesses, in comparison to high interest bank loans for each business. Approxi-mately $50,000 is needed to rebuild each devastated business.
