Date: 22 March 2019 (Friday) Venue : Room UT, CityU SCOPE Admiralty Learning Centre, 8/F United Centre, Admiralty, Hong Kong Time : 2:30 p.m. ~ 5:30 p.m. With the great success achieved in previous Excellence in Facility Management Award, The HKIFM will celebrate EFMA 10th Anniversary, with the Launch Ceremony to be held in March 2019. In view of the ever-changing demands from stakeholders, Facility Management professionals have to assist clients to focus on their core business and optimize the financial performance of the respective facilities to their full potential. Indeed, Facility Managers must devote substantial effort to improve management efficiency through various asset enhancement initiatives, such as upgrading service quality, introducing cost saving practice, reviewing space planning/ design and adopting "sustainability" strategy, so as to constantly maximize the asset value of the managed facilities. While this years Theme Award is focused on “Asset Enhancement”, contemporary asset enhancement concepts with introduction of effective approach and appropriate technology would be conveyed to attendants of this Symposium. Accordingly, The HKIFM is honored to invite professional experts, Mrs Sylvia LAM YU Ka-Wai, JP, Director of Architectural Services, Architectural Services Department, HKSAR and Mr Peter WONG Se-King, General Manager, Building Rehabilitation of Urban Renewal Authority, to share the respective Government policies and principles, as well as related implications on facility management profession.
