RECOMMENDATION: this was a funny book about Thanksgiving so, if you like funny books this is a book you might like.

My favorite part of the story is when the chicken runs away, because that’s when it gets exciting. Its when Arthur has some trouble finding Henrietta. That’s why its my favorite part.

I relate to Arthur because I would be scared if my pet was lost, also I would make a sign so people could find or know my pet. That’s why I relate to Arthur.

SUMMARY: On Thanksgiving, the Bobowicz family wanted a chicken or a duck. So Arthur, the son, went to the store to find a chicken or a duck, but there were none! Finally, Arthur found a huge 266 pound chicken for sale for just 6 cents per pound. So, Author took it.

Many people were afraid of Henrietta the chicken because she was so big. Even the police thought she was a polar bear. When the people began screaming in fear of the chicken, Henrietta ran away. Arthur was surprised that a 266 pound chicken could run that fast. She ran so fast that Arthur could not find her. Soon, every one knew about Henrietta.

Arthur came up with a plan to find her. He visited a guy named Hoboken, Arthur said to make a banner saying “chickens need your love.” Then every one was not scared of Henrietta, and Henrietta was not scared of them. Henrietta went back to Arthur, and he made a show of a 266 pound chicken doing tricks on the playground for all the kids.
