The Beginning of ComputersIn the year 1939 a group called Hewlett-

Packard is founded.

 The first thing that they made was the HP 200A Audio Oscillator. It quickly became a widespread piece of test equipment for engineers.

The Evolution of the ComputerOver time the computer was refined and

compacted from very large computers to laptops that we have today.

StorageThe storage of the information evolved

along with the computers.

Over time it changed from Magnetic tape to Magnetic disks.

It has changed over the time to flash drive and similar devices.

With each change the amount of data has increased

After the Vietnam War demonstrators attacked college computer centers. At the University of Wisconsin, the toll was one human and four machines.

Artificial intelligenceNorbert Wiener published "Cybernetics," a

large influence on future research into artificial intelligence.

Cybernetics is from the Greek for “Steersman”.
