University of Potsdam
The Helmholtz Graduate School for Macromolecular Bioscience – a cooperation between the Instituteof Biomaterial Science of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, Freie Universität Berlin and Universityof Potsdam – holds it first Summer School from 23 – 27 September 2013.
The program provides the participants with a com-prehensive insight into the research areas of the Graduate School comprising the fields of macromo-lecular and biomaterial science. Renowned scien-tists present their research and are available for exclusive discussions. During the five-day program PhD candidates receive various opportunities to discuss their own research within a small-group expert environment. The program is conducted in English and includes lectures, project presentations, scientific team challenges, and a best Summer School PhD presentation awarded with a prize.
On Friday, 27 September 2013, the Summer School culminates in the official opening ceremony of the Helmholtz Graduate School for Macromolecular Bioscience. The festive event features speeches by high-ranking representatives of participating and governing institutions, complemented by keynotes of outstanding scientific researchers.
Prof. Dr. Beate Koksch PD Dr. Nan MaSpokesperson Deputy Spokesperson
