THE HANNAH BRIDGETHE HANNAH BRIDGE
BY HANNAH MARTEENY
When Mr.Skarphol told the class about the bridges, immediately I had a new goal. I had to build a bridge. Then Mr. Skarphol told me, Peyton, Mckenna, Baylie, Robby, and Talia that we could do a bridge. I was so excited. A few days later, we got to look up which bridge we want. I chose the Hannah bridge not because of the exterior, but because of the name. Hannah. My name. When I saw the pictures, it was love at first sight. The Hannah bridge is beautiful and it has so many interesting facts, which I will now show you....

THE HANNAH BRIGDE
The Hannah Bridge is located in Scio Oregon over Thomas creek. Thomas creek was named for Frederick Thomas, who had a donation land claim and settled on the banks of the creek in 1846. In 1853 John Hannah arrived in wagon train and received a 151 acre tract of land bound by Thomas Creek.
