It was two nights before Christmas,
our hearts are prepared,
The wound between God and man
soon to be repaired.
Mary said “Yes,” the world soon to
behold
One whose full glory could never be
told!
An angel chorus appears and sings,
Their anthem of “Glory” in our heart
and churches rings.
We, too, alight in faith and joy
Here to praise the baby Boy.
Behold! Our Savior comes, a child
tender.
To this great king your praises
render.
I do wish all of you a merry
Christmas. Jesus is the reason for
the season. He is love incarnate
found in the manger. May love also
abound in your homes this
Christmas.
See inside for the Mass schedule for
our region. The Christmas Eve
Masses are always very full. It is a
joy. While your usual parking spot
or usual seat might be taken, do not
fret. We want to be Christ for each
other so, too, in welcoming those
who are with us to honor the child
Jesus.
January 1 is the feast day for Mary,
Mother of God. See inside for the
Mass schedule.
Prepare your heart to receive
Emmanuel – God with us.

In contrast to the culture of their time, the first Christians were warm, in-viting, kind, and generous. They intrigued people simply by the way they lived. When we live Christianity the way it’s intended to be lived, it’s incredi-bly attractive—so let’s get out there and live our faith. For a deeper look into God’s dream for you, be sure that your family picks up a copy of The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity, our regional Christmas book that will be given out at all of our Christmas Masses.
FOOD COLLECTION—TODAY Nativity: the crib will be set up in church on Sunday, December 23, after the 10:30 AM Mass. All help is appreciated.
FATHER ROB, FATHER JIM AND THE PARISH STAFF WISH EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR WITH MANY BLESS-INGS FOR YOU IN 2019.
YOUR CONTINUED GENEROSITY IN YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFT TO ST. JOSEPH IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. IT IS A GOOD WAY TO THANK GOD FOR ALL THE GRACES AND BLESSINGS YOU HAVE RECEIVED DURING THE YEAR. YOUR CHURCH AND SCHOOL NEED THESE FUNDS TO CARRY ON THE WORK OF CHRIST AND BALANCE THEIR ANNUAL BUDGET. MAY GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR GEN-EROSITY AND MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS MERRY AND YOUR NEW YEAR HAPPY.

God wants us to live life consciously. He wants us to notice people around us who are suffering and need encouragement. He is calling us to change the world one moment at a time, but we have to stop sleepwalking through life in order to do that. For a deeper look into living a life of incredible awareness be sure that your family picks up a copy of The Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity, our regional Christmas book that will be given out at all of our Christmas Masses.
Father Rob, Father Richmond, Deacon Jeff and the parish staff wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with many blessings for you in
2019.
Corporal Work of Mercy: Visit our brothers and sisters in Christ at Bradford Place bearing the gift of Holy Communion. You will find it personally reward-ing to bring the joy and comfort of Holy Communion to people who desper-ately want to receive our Lord through the Sacrament. We currently have need of 2 or 3 Eucharistic Visitors to give one hour a week. If you’re unable to commit to 1 hour a week, that’s not a problem! You can commit to every other week or sign up as an alternate. Not trained? That’s not a problem either! Training is easy and you’ll have someone with you the first few weeks until you’re comfortable. Please contact Denise Anson at: [email protected] or 513-863-8412.
Incense Use at Mass: Due to some of our parishioners being sensitive to incense we have designated the 8:00AM Sunday Mass as the Mass that we will NOT have incense. These are the days that incense will be used:
Sundays of Christmas Season Through Baptism of the Lord (11AM).
Sundays of Easter Season through Pentecost (11AM).
