Welcome to thesecond KirknewtonWhat's On Guide. We received good feedback on our firstissue. You and other communities in WestLothian loved it and estate agents sellinghouses in Kirknewton wanted to include it in their further particulars! We are encouraged that the What's On guide encouraged many ofyou to 'give it a go' and try something new, on your own doorstep. We are particularly happy to see the Green Room, alongside the Village Hall, becoming an established part of our lives with local people arranging their own events there including hen do's, kids and christening parties. In this issue of What's On we have included a newbooking form for events and classes in the Green Room for you. Wecan also organise catering for your event if required.

None of this would be possible without volunteers. To celebrate and thank fantastic volunteers we are running our second volunteerawards this year. You can vote online as before or fill in the survey in this brochure by 30th September.

Not everything is covered in the booklet so please keep followingKirknewton.org or the Facebook / Twitter pages for regular updatesand look out for a special Christmas and New Year issue of What's On in November!
