of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled,

and the kingdom of God is at hand;

repent and believe in the gospel.”

ACHEIVEMENT

“And you were dead in the

trespasses and sins in which you

once walked, following the course of

this world, following the prince of

the power of the air, the spirit that is

now at work in the sons of

disobedience—

Page 11: The Gospel

ACHEIVEMENT

among whom we all once lived in

the passions of our flesh, carrying

out the desires of the body and the

mind, and were by nature children of

wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Page 12: The Gospel

ACHEIVEMENT

But God, being rich in mercy,

because of the great love with which

he loved us, even when we were

dead in our trespasses, made us

alive together with Christ—by grace

you have been saved—

Page 13: The Gospel

ACHEIVEMENT

and raised us up with him and

seated us with him in the heavenly

places in Christ Jesus, so that in the

coming ages he might show the

immeasurable riches of his grace in

kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Page 14: The Gospel

ACHEIVEMENT

For by grace you have been saved

through faith. And this is not your own

doing. It is the gift of God, not as a

result of works, so that no one may

boast

Page 15: The Gospel

ACHEIVEMENT

For we are his workmanship, created in

Christ Jesus for good works, which God

prepared beforehand, that we should walk

in them.” –Ephesians 2:1-10

Page 16: The Gospel

ACHEIVEMENT

Jesus made things right between you

and the Father!

Jesus is your reward!

Page 17: The Gospel

ACCEPTANCE

“For I am not ashamed of the

gospel, for it is the power of God for

salvation to everyone who believes,

to the Jew first and also to the

Greek. -Romans 1:16

Page 18: The Gospel

ACCEPTANCE

The Gospel will never be the Good News to you until

you believe it is Good News done for you, not by you.

Good works will never be good enough to earn you

good graces into the throne of God.

You gotta believe to be set free!

It is the goodness of God that wakes our dead hearts

Page 19: The Gospel

APPLICATION

“Finally, then, brothers, we ask and

urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you

received from us how you ought to

walk and to please God, just as you

are doing, that you do so more and

more

Page 20: The Gospel

APPLICATION

For you know what instructions we

gave you through the Lord Jesus. For

this is the will of God, your

sanctification: that you abstain from

sexual immorality;

Page 21: The Gospel

APPLICATION

that each one of you know how to

control his own body in holiness and

honor, not in the passion of lust like

the Gentiles who do not know God;

Page 22: The Gospel

APPLICATION

that no one transgress and wrong

his brother in this matter, because

the Lord is an avenger in all these

things, as we told you beforehand

and solemnly warned you.

Page 23: The Gospel

APPLICATION

For God has not called us for

impurity, but in holiness. Therefore

whoever disregards this,

disregards not man but God, who

gives his Holy Spirit to you.”-1

Thessalonians 4:1-8

Page 24: The Gospel

APPLICATION

If you truly are born-again we will have no

problem following His commands, because

they are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3

Knowledge is useless if you don’t put it into

practice!

He always finishes what He starts. Rom. 8:28

Page 25: The Gospel

APPEARING

“And I heard a loud voice from the

throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling

place of God is with man. He will dwell

with them, and they will be his

people, and God himself will be with

them as their God.

Page 26: The Gospel

APPEARING

He will wipe away every tear from

their eyes, and death shall be no

more, neither shall there be

mourning, nor crying, nor pain

anymore, for the former things have

passed away.”-Revelation 21:3-4

Page 27: The Gospel

APPEARING

What’s worth while is worth waiting for.

Seeing our Savior is our hearts greatest

use our faith in this fallen world. We

must cling to the fact that the One who

bent over to raise us will surely be there

in the end to hold us.

Page 28: The Gospel

WHY THE GOSPEL?

I am astonished that you are so

quickly deserting him who called

you in the grace of Christ and are

turning to a different gospel

Page 29: The Gospel

WHY THE GOSPEL?

-not that there is another one,

but there are some who trouble you

and want to distort the gospel of

Christ.

Page 30: The Gospel

WHY THE GOSPEL?

But even if we or an angel from

heaven should preach to you a

gospel contrary to the one we

preached to you, let him be

accursed.” –Galatians 1:6-8

Page 31: The Gospel

WHY THE GOSPEL?

“Why”-for what reason or purpose.

What is the reason and purpose of the

Gospel?

Page 32: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL REASON

The gospel is meant to expose the

kingdom of darkness and it’s lies with

the marvelous light of the Kingdom of

God through the glorious truth of the

finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Page 33: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL REASON

So that mankind may experience the

goodness of His grace through His salvation

and have their souls forever preserved in

the pleasure of His presence by fulfilling

the chief end of their design, to glorify God.

Page 34: The Gospel

CAUTION

If you do not know the Gospel, growing in

the Gospel, or showing the fruit of the

Gospel in your life and in the lives of others

you will be easily deceived by something

other that isn’t the Gospel.

Page 35: The Gospel

MIX ING BAD NEWS WITH GOOD NEWS

Spirituality- We are all spiritual beings. God is

spirit and we were created from Him, but yet he is

distinct. - John 4:23-24

There is no other God, but our God. Any other

claims that Jesus is not God must not be mixed with

the Gospel! –Deut. 6:4; John 8:58; Isaiah 48:11

Page 36: The Gospel

MIX ING BAD NEWS WITH GOOD NEWS

Jesus is the only way to the Father. There is no

other way! –John 14:6

People will spend eternity either two: Under

God’s peace or under God’s wrath.

Sin has consequences and it must be

punished.

Page 37: The Gospel

MIX ING BAD NEWS WITH GOOD NEWS

Relational-concerning the way two or more

people or things are connected.

We are relational beings. We love friendship

and family and being apart of a loving

environment.

Page 38: The Gospel

MIX ING BAD NEWS WITH GOOD NEWS

Connecting with Entertainment

Music, Movies, and social media have ability

to produce multiple messages that either

complement the Gospel or contend against the

Gospel.

We must always be mindful of who or what we

allow to influence us!

THE GOSPEL IS THE ONLY HOPE

We must know the Word of God and Wash

ourselves with it daily!

The Word of God will always weed out the Bad

News!

Psalm 119:105

2 Corinthians 10:5

John 6:68

Page 42: The Gospel

WHY THE GOSPEL?

It helps us clearly see God and if we can

clearly see God He can clearly see us and if

He can clearly see us then that means that

sin is far from us and if sin is far from us

that means He is truly pleased with us and

that should always be our ultimate aim.

Page 43: The Gospel

LOVING THE AUTHOR OF THE GOSPEL

“Do not love the world or the things

in the world. If anyone loves the

world, the love of the Father is not in

him. For all that is in the world—the

desires of the flesh and the desires of

the eyes and pride of life—

Page 44: The Gospel

LOVING THE AUTHOR OF THE GOSPEL

is not from the Father but is from

the world. And the world is passing

away along with its desires, but

whoever does the will of God abides

forever.”-1 John 2:15-17

Page 45: The Gospel

THE AUTHOR

Every one loves the story. We are a generation that

lives for the sequel. We love stories because of how it

makes us feel, it’s challenge us, convicts us, and

inspires us to be swept up into the characters and

their lives. God is the author of our salvation and has

written a story much bigger than any story man could

ever write and he doesn’t want us to spectators in

the story, but participants.

Page 46: The Gospel

THE CHARACTERS

There are three sets of characters in the story of

God:

The main character Jesus: It’s all about Jesus, not

you!

Those who love the Father

Those who hate the Father

Page 47: The Gospel

THE LOVERS

We must always remember that it was God who first

loved, not the other way around. –Rev. 2:4

Noah-Genesis 6:1-14

He walked with the Lord and built an ark despite the

criticism from all the people who thought he was crazy

for believing that a flood was coming to cleanse the

world of wickedness. God spared him and his family.

Page 48: The Gospel

THE LOVERS

Abraham-Genesis 22:1-14

He loved the Lord so much so that he was willing to

sacrifice his own son. The Lord saw that he feared Him and

spared his only son by providing a ram for the sacrifice.

Hannah-1 Samuel 1:1-28

She loved the Lord so much that she gave her only son,

Samuel, to service of the Lord, because the Lord had

provided.

Page 49: The Gospel

THE LOVERS

David- 1 Samuel 16:7

He is said to be a man after God’s on heart. He was not

perfect but he did love the Lord and when he sinned he

confessed his sin to the Lord. He did many great things for

the Lord.

The Disciples-The New Testament

The Disciples of Jesus gave them even until death for the

sake of the Gospel.

Page 50: The Gospel

THE LOVER

Jesus-Romans 5:8; John 15:13

These verses explains everything.

There is no greater lover than Jesus. He is faithfully

committed to lavishing His love on you every sec of

every hour of every day for all eternity and nothing

will get in the way.-Romans 8:37-39

Page 51: The Gospel

THE HATERS

Pharaoh- Exodus 14:3-4

He is a punk. He thought he was the greatest man to

live and all had all power. God showed him otherwise.

Ahab-1 Kings 16:30

He did evil in the sight of the Lord more than any

other king before him. He worshipped Baal and not the

living God of his fathers.

Page 52: The Gospel

THE HATERS

Jezebel-Revelation 2:20

This lady was bad. Enough said. Girls don’t be this girl.

Pharisees- Matthew 23

They hated Jesus. They were teachers of the Law and

knew Scripture better than anyone, but couldn’t

recognize the God of the Scriptures when he was

standing right in front of them. John 5:39-47

Page 53: The Gospel

THE HATER

El Diablo, Lucifer, or Stank face- 1 Peter 5:8; John

8:44

He despises the main character Jesus. He thought

in his heart that he was more magnificent than God.

He thought wrong. He was not extended salvation

and hates without any mercy the lovers of God.

Page 54: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

The Jealous Joker

This person loves world period. They don’t have to

have the things of the world their are bent on evil and

being with world. They don’t care about anything.

They just want to watch the world burn. Your with

Satan’s posse and your trying to cause as much

havoc as you can. Your about his will, not God’s,

because you love him and not God.

Page 55: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

You make life chaos for those who really love you

and care for you. The sad part is you don’t care.

You and the world are in starring roles. As long as

you have the world your alright.

You are an assassin against God. Anything that has

assignment to bring God Glory your signing up to

take it out.

Page 56: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

The Gaudy Gold digger

This person loves the trinkets and treasures the

world’s gives. They do whatever the worlds wants to

flaunt whatever the world wants the others to see.

They love the world for the money, because their

more about themselves and they will align

themselves with the world to gain the world’s pearls.

Page 57: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

When things get tough and there’s tension between

the light and dark. They take dark’s side every time,

because they love the things the world and don’t

want to be apart from them.

Fashion, popularity, pleasure, riches, success,

comfort, etc. are their goals in life and they dig

however deep they need to dig to get them. Very

easy to sway.

Page 58: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

They try to manipulate to get want they want

They don’t like correction, but really don’t care. They

say what they got say to keep their treasure. They rather

go through the self checkout than being checked out.

These people are billboards on the road of life

marketing death to those on the way to God’s throne.

They sold themselves out for far lesser pleasures.

Page 59: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

Confused carl & Carla

The most dangerous group to me because their

hard to identify. These people have the Hannah

Montana mentality, “they want the best of both

worlds.” they like this mentality because it allows

them to have a passport into both camps, the

Kingdom of light and the Kingdom of darkness.

Page 60: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A HATER

They either stay neutral not taking a clear stance at all, or

their standing up for both, because they don’t want to fight.

You think by doing good things that it’s good enough to

keep your status as Christian, so everyone will think you are

a Christian, so you can put on your dancing shoes and dance

it up with the world at night without anyone knowing.

Smoke screen conviction

Page 61: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A LOVER

Content Carl & Carla

This people love God and truly have the Father

abiding in them. They find the world completely

unfulfilling and distasteful. Only God can satisfy

them. Whether they are married or not, rich or poor,

fame or no fame their hope is in Christ and Christ

alone is their righteous. They are the real deal and

they make no deals with the world.

Page 62: The Gospel

IDENTIFYING A LOVER

Cautions:

Remember it’s not Jesus and me, it’s Jesus and we

God gifts you to serve mankind, not save mankind

You will always be tempted to leave the One who

called you until your in the ground. Do not listen to

the world and it’s lies, abide in the Father and do His

will and you shall live forever

Page 63: The Gospel

LOVER OR HATER?

How will it end?

Do you want to be remember as a Lover or Hater of

God?

John 8:12-30

Page 64: The Gospel

LOVING MY ROLE IN THE GOSPEL

“And he gave the apostles, the

prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds

and teachers, to equip the saints for the

work of ministry, for building up the body

of christ,

Page 65: The Gospel

LOVING MY ROLE IN THE GOSPEL

Until we all attain to the unity of the

faith and of the knowledge of the son of

god, to mature manhood, to the measure

of the stature of the fullness of christ,

Page 66: The Gospel

LOVING MY ROLE IN THE GOSPEL

So that we may no longer be children,

tossed to and fro by the waves and

carried about by every wind of doctrine,

human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful

schemes.

Page 67: The Gospel

LOVING MY ROLE IN THE GOSPEL

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we

are to grow up in every way into him who

his the head, into christ, from whom the

whole body, joined and held together by

every joint with which it

Page 68: The Gospel

LOVING MY ROLE IN THE GOSPEL

is equipped, when each part is working

properly, makes the body grow so that it

builds itself up in love.”-Ephesians 4:11-16

Page 69: The Gospel

KNOWING YOUR ROLE

Role: the function or part played by a person or thing in a

particular situation that is orchestrated by God.

We all have universal roles and distinct roles to play in

the story of God.

Our universal role is to worship God, glorify God, and

love God with everything we are by making Him

everywhere we go. John 4:23-24; Isaiah 43:7; Matthew

22:37-40

Page 70: The Gospel

KNOWING YOUR ROLE

Our distinct role is to worship God, glorify God, and

love God with everything we are by making Him

known everywhere we go through the specific gifts

He has given each us. Ephesians 4:12; Romans 12:6-

8

As a Christian we must all identify our role.

Page 71: The Gospel

UNIVERSAL ROLES

We have already discussed what it means to be

lover of God lets look at what it means to be a child

and follower of God.

All believers are Sons and Daughters of God. These

roles stem from the love the Father has towards all

sons and daughters that we all should be called

children of God. 1 John 3:1; Eph. 4:14

Page 72: The Gospel

UNIVERSAL ROLES

A son savors the words of the Father. John 8:38

A son spends time with the Father. Mark 1:35

A son works hard for the Father. John 4:34; 1 Tim

5:8

A son must be blameless. Jude 24

A son must honor authority. Titus 3:1-2

A son must honors the family name. Philippians

A daughter must know she is beautiful. Proverbs

31:10

A daughter must not adorn herself with the world,

but with a gentle and quiet spirit. 1 Peter 3:3

Page 74: The Gospel

UNIVERSAL ROLES

We are all Brothers & Sisters in the family of God.

Bro’s & Sis’s look out for each other. Galatians 6:2

Bro’s & Sis’s have a right relationship with each other.

Ephesians 5:3

Bro’s & Sis’s work better together for the glory of the Lord

than apart. Ephesians 4:5

Bro’s & Sis’s always speak the truth in love. Ephesians

4:15

Page 75: The Gospel

UNIVERSAL ROLES

We are all called to be co-labors and make disciples

of all nations so that we may grow up into mature

manhood and womanhood and attain complete unity

of the faith. 1 Thess. 3:2; Matt. 28:19

Co-labors have to be sanctified into that role

through themselves being discipled. What does that

look like?

Page 76: The Gospel

UNIVERSAL ROLES

Spiritual babe: John 3:3; Hebrews 5:13(Children)

Maturing Disciple: 1 John 2: 12-14(Young men)

Multiplying Leader: 1 John 2:12-14(Young men)

Co-Laborer: 1 Thess. 3:2; 1 John 2:12-14(Fathers)

Page 77: The Gospel

DISTINCT ROLES

We are all called to the ministry of reconciliation,

but we all have distinct roles in carrying out that

ministry. 2 Corinthians 5:18

God has called us and has equip for a certain task

here on this earth.

God never calls the equipped he equips the called.

Page 78: The Gospel

DISTINCT ROLES

What’s your role?

God has given gifts. What’s your gift and how can you

glorify the Giver with it?

Some will be called into ministry to equip the saints:

Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Apostles, and Prophets.

Some will be called into ministry in the secular world:

Doctors, Lawyers, Athletes, Business, Politics, Social

Services, Military.

Page 79: The Gospel

BE A ROLE MODEL

Where ever you may be in life you are called to glorify

Christ.

1 Corinthians 11:1(Christ is the Head)

1 Timothy 4:12

Use your influence to be influential for the Kingdom of God,

not the Kingdom of self.

Know your role, love you role so the body can function

properly in seeing the world redeemed by Jesus.

Page 80: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL IS THE GLORY FOR ALL NAT IONS

“So when they had come together they

asked him, “lord, will you at this time

restore the kingdom to israel?” he said to

them, “it is not for you to know times or

seasons that the Father

Page 81: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL IS THE GLORY FOR ALL NAT IONS

Has fixed by his own authority. But you will

receive power when the holy spirit has

come upon you, and you will be my

witnesses in jerusalem and in all judea and

samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Page 82: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL IS THE GLORY FOR ALL NAT IONS

And when he had said these things, as they

were looking on, he was lifted up, and a

cloud took him out of their sight. And while

they were gazing into heaven as he went,

behold, tow men stood by them in white

robes, and said,

Page 83: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL IS THE GLORY FOR ALL NAT IONS

Men of galilee, why do you stand looking

into heaven? This jesus, who was taken up

form you into heaven? This jesus, who

taken up from you into heaven, will come

in the same way as you saw him go into

heaven.” –Acts 1:6-11

Page 84: The Gospel

ARE YOU READY?

Ni zhun bei hao le ma? (Are you ready?)

While they were staying with Jesus in Jerusalem he

gave them final instructions and ascended into

heaven. While they looked up two angels asked,

“Why are looking into heaven?” Jesus will come

again.

We got work to do son!

HE IS COMING BACK!

Jesus is coming back for His Bride!-Acts 1:11; 1

Thess. 4:13-18; John 3:29

We must be a blameless Bride that her Bridegroom

delights to be with and show off to all of creation.

We must remember the Gospel will advance forward

whether we choose to partake in it or not.

Beyonce mentality- You are replaceable. Acts 1:24-26

Page 86: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL JOURNEY

The Gospel is the greatest story ever told and

everyone needs to here it, because God desires for

them to hear it and draw near it! Ezekiel 18:32; 1

Timothy 4:2

There is nothing more exciting and fulfilling than

living and dying for the sake of the Gospel. Whether

through suffering and success the glory of God is of

the upmost importance to the existence of a believer.

2 Cor. 11:24-33

Page 87: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL JOURNEY

Sharing the Gospel to the nations requires us to be

content in Christ, not comfortable in Christ.

We must be willing to get dirty and get in the trench’s

where dead hearts lie and speak to them the Words of life.

We must be willing to be the first ones to go. Why?

Because no one is innocent.

We must go with the church and through the church

Page 88: The Gospel

Buddy evangelism; Brimstone evangelism

Carrying a too heavy of a burden, and not carrying

Page 89: The Gospel

THE GOSPEL JOURNEY

The goal of the Gospel is to glorify Jesus and to fulfill the

followers of Jesus.

Preserver to the end. John 6:62; Acts 1:9

Don’t be on the outside looking in. Rev. 22:14-15

When you feel yourself swaying remember what you’ve

learned this week and cling to the cross and continue to

make your boast in Christ and He shall see you through to

the end.
