The Goode Legacy

Part 1

This is Sylvia Goode. She is the founder of The Goode Legacy. This isn’t my first legacy, but it is the first one I’m trying to document more closely. I am playing with a Strict Family Values handicap and a Matriarchy handicap. Sylvia and her descendants cannot have Woohoo before marriage and after marriage they can only Try for Baby. The heir will always be the firstborn daughter. I am playing with hacks, because I can’t live without them, and I will undoubtedly be cheating. That being said, let’s jump into the legacy.

This is the Goode family as I created them in CAS. The gal there in blue is our founder, Miss Sylvia Goode. The other two are her parents, creatively named Scott (the man) and Scottie (the woman). Scott and Scottie were created in CAS for two purposes. First, they were created to give Sylvia a recessive gene for brown hair, because I think that’s interesting. Second, they were created so that I could make Sylvia as a teen and get her some scholarships before she went to college.

Sylvia’s mom was struck by lightning shortly after the family moved into the house. No pictures of her survive. Sylvia’s dad, Scott, became an elder just before she went to college. Here he is bidding her farewell as she heads off for the next stage of her life.

There are no pictures of Sylvia’s first year or so at university. She lived in a dorm freshman year and met a lot of people, including that fellow up there. His name is Melchior. Sylvia liked him best of all the guys she met and so in sophomore year, she proposed on a date.

As you can see, Melchior happily accepted her proposal.

Although there is no evidence of this other than this picture, Sylvia did move out of the dorm and start a Greek House. The brunette there is her friend Arachne, who is the placeholder for the house. The guy in Arachne’s thought bubble is Brody, who became Arachne’s fiance. Sylvia and Arachne were good friends and got the house up to level 6 by the time Sylvia graduated. This was mostly due to Sylvia, who rerolled Popularity in junior year and had a great knack for making friends quickly. She left college with 11 best friends, I think.

Sylvia graduated with a 4.0 with very little urging from me. She went to classes punctually and reliably rolled a want to write her term paper every semester. She grew up into this princess dress, which looks awful with her hat but is a Sylvia type of dress, I think. I let her keep it as formal wear.

Sylvia moved back into her late parents’ house (her dad having died during her university years) and wasted no time in inviting Melchior over for a wedding. Her wedding dress was very nice and not chosen by me. Melchior decided to get married in one of those rolled up messy suits that came with Glamour Life (I think).

Here is Melchior after a makeover. The anime hair just wasn’t for him, but I wanted to keep his odd style. (He wore a very bright turquoise and purple suite in college.) He wants to be an Icon in the Show Business career. I thought this made him look quite handsome.

This is Melchior’s personality. I haven’t seen that lack of nice points in action. He’s been a sweet guy so far, but then again, I haven’t seen him with anyone but his wife, with whom he has 3 bolts.

Here’s Sylvia after a makeover. I just recently got those glasses, recolors of Pinketamine’s conversions of Tamo’s cat eye glasses. I don’t normally use patterns on things, but I thought these looked nice with Sylvia’s dress and set off the color of her eyes. She’s only wearing the hat because it’s one of Melchior’s turn ons. Eventually I may give her a different style…

This is Sylvia’s personality. For someone with only 4 outgoing points, she does very well making friends. Admittedly, she does a lot of it over the phone (thanks to AutoYak) but she’s also constantly rolling wants to influence people to do things.

Naturally, being newlyweds, Sylvia and Melchior followed tradition. They may not know it yet, but they’re expecting a third Goode quite soon.
