A duck mom had 3 good little ducks.

“Quack, quack!” said the mom.“Quack, quack, quack! Look at us!”

said the good little ducks.

“Look at the pond,” quacked the mom. “It is good to swim there.”

“Can we go?” quacked the little ducks. “We can run. We can jump. We can be quick!”

“You can,” quacked the mom. “I will watch.”

The little ducks ran. A duck slipped. He fell.

The 2 little ducks quit running to look. “Get up, get up,” they quacked.

“Hop in!” said the mom.

The little ducks nodded. They jumped into the pond.

“I can be quick!” said a little duck. “Can you?”

The 2 ducks kicked and kicked. They yelled back, “Yes, we are quick!”

The good little ducks had fun there. “Look at us in the pond!” they quacked.

They tipped and dipped, down and up. They did not quit quacking.

“Watch us! This is a lot of good fun. Quack!”
