Task 6 – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The costumes in this music video is very appropriate as the song they are doing the artists would dress like the way they have.

This part of the video is the only bad bit as the editing is a bit tacky with the fire and I looks a bit childish.

All these camera angles are close up of the singers face these are very good as you can

see her facial expressions.

A lot of thought has gone into making this video as the actors and there costumes are very good, the locations are good and appropriate and a lot of thought has gone into the locations as they have gone to a studio to film part of the video.

This music video is very good as the editing effects are top quality with slow motions, blurs and special effects. The actors are very good as well, the lip sinking is spot on which make the video look really good.

The editing in this video is very good as the cartoon animation is very effective and looks

good and appealing.

The camera angles used in the clip are thought about as there is a variety of different angles like shown hear, close up, high angle, over the shoulder.

It is a rap song, which is a challenge to lip synch to as it is quite quick in places, but the actors seem to be in time with the music. The facial expressions are really good as it is a rap song they take it seriously and use hand actions to make it look they are real rapper and a professional feel.

The locations are well thought about as the are in the center of London by the famous landmarks and have

spent time getting to the places and locations, the

actors look really confident as they are filming in the

middle of London in front of lots of people.

The Bad – Paradise A2 Media Coursework

This video is really bad as it is a really slow song, which turns into dubstep, so would be a really hard song to lip sink to, if they did lip sinking, which they haven’t.

This is a good eyeline match shot but the image is blurry and poor picture

quality.

The music doesn't link to the actions of the characters as when the men are fighting, the music is calm and slow.

The locations are not very well thought through and

have no relation to the

song. The costumes are not

thought about as the actors are wearing everyday

clothing that they would wear normally.

There are a lot of close ups in the video which is appropriate

as it show the characters emotions and expressions so

we know how they feel.

The editing in this video is almost no existent which shows it is a bad music

video as no time or effort has gone into making it.

The Bad - A2 Media Music Video - Thrift ShopThis music video is bad as the song I had to do as it is a rap song meaning it will be hard to lip sink to.

You can tell that not much thought has gone into as in this scene above, is only recorded once and isplayed 4 times as it is the chorus of the song, so not much effort has gone into producing this video.

The locations and costumes in this video are atrocious as the are very

basic and it looks like they have filmed it all at school, it looks like the have

their school clothes on as well.

It looks like the student were messing around and not taking it seriously as the camera men are in the picture, this will bring down the marks dramatically.

The lip sinking in places is good and in others really bad, which will also drop down the

marks.

The editing features in this music video are very

limited to rewinds and visual effects, which don’t

really looks great.

A lot of unneeded stuff went into this video which makes it look rubbish.
