What is the PPPHW?• Partnership of 14 organizations• Goal: To increase handwashing with soap around the

world• Objectives:

– Provide capacity-building/TA to country-level handwashing programs

– Institutionalization/mainstreaming of handwashing

– Consolidation and dissemination of at-scale models

WSP Senegal Monitoring Information System

Implementing Firm Field Workers collect Household HW data monthly

Implementing Firm local supervisor reviews and validates data. Forwards data to WSP data operator

WSP-funded independent evaluator makes regular visits to target communities to audit Field Worker forms and ensure accuracy

WSP data operator inputs data into database and sends compiled data to WSP management

WSP analyzes data and adjusts program or implementation organization activities accordingly
