The ghost of the little girlA legend on the castle of Giove

Once upon a time, a king, a queen and their little daughter lived in the castle of Giove.

During a very hard battle everybody was killed except an old caretaker who had the keys of all the rooms of the castle.

One night, when he went around the castle to control that all the rooms were closed he realized he didn't have the key of

the little girl's room anymore. So the caretaker, worried that someone could have entered and taken away all the toys and the precious objects once the little girl owned, tried to get in the room but the only thing he could hear was a music coming from a music box inside the room.

He was scared to death and ran away. After a month the old man, bravely,

went into the castle agin and the only thing he could hear was the same music he heard before and he also felt very cold air coming from the room. He was astonished because he saw the following words written at random with dust in a mirror: “I want the music of my music box in the castle, I want that you check that nobody steals my things. I'm sad”.

It seems that this little girl loved classical music and had a lot of toys but her favourite were the music box her dad gave her and a porcelain doll whose hair she used to comb and whose clothes she liked changing.

It's also said that the music box is still working but no-one knows where it is now. Concerning the key of her room … the old caretaker took it with him in his tomb.
