Congressman Jim Renacci, Ohio The R. L. Laughlin & Co., Inc. office employees in the Hartville office attended an event put on by Enervest Oil and Gas of Ohio.  Guest speaker was Congressman Jim Renacci, representing the 16th congressional district in Ohio.  Comments concerned support of the oil and gas business expanding in Ohio and the job growth being realized.  Enervest is contributing to this growth being the largest producer of natural gas in Ohio and its continuing development especially in the Utica formation. R. L. Laughlin& Co., Inc. is pleased to be part of this growth with a new office in Hartville, Ohio.  To date the company has added eight new employees, all from Ohio, with plans for at least that many more in the near future.  The Hartville office serves all of Ohio and Eastern Pennsylvania with fifteen service technicians and office staff supporting

Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course

Josephine Olivia Canterbury

 David Canterbury, his wife Mikaela and 'big sister' Paige welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world on August 14, 2011.  Josephine Olivia Canterbury weighed 8 #s 13 ozs. and was 21 inches long.

 RLLCO employee Cathy Lewis & her husband Danny are very proud to announce the birth of their second granddaughter,

(AGMSC) R. L. Laughlin & Co., Inc. participated in the AGMSC on August 9, 10, 11 and 12th.  It was the 71st meeting and set a record attendance of 1,308!  The company attended by having an exhibitor’s booth operated by Stephanie Hamilton and Gary Sergent.  Several of the classes offered were attended and are very helpful in the continuing education in the growth and changing methods in the gas measurement field. We would like to thank our clients and fellow vendors for coming by the booth, swapping ideas and seeking information and assistance with their measurement needs.  With the rapid growth and innovations in the natural gas business AGMSC is the premier event for gathering and putting forth the new ideas and methods.   See you at the next short course!   http://www.agmsc.org/  

  

  

 

 

PIOGA Monroeville, Pennsylvania 

On August 30 and 31, R. L. Laughlin & Co., Inc. participated in the Eastern Oil and Gas Conference.  The show featured a record number of exhibitors and was well attended.  The conference focused on the political climate for natural gas development in Pennsylvania and new innovations in drilling safety.  The company is active in these conferences to stay abreast of new technology and better serve our clients in the Appalachian Basin.     

Chloe Madelynn born on June 13, 2011. Chloe is named after her Grammie Cathy Lynn Lewis. :) Chloe & big sister Skylar (who just turned two in August) reside in Nitro, WV with their parents Michael & Caitrin Craig.

New Hires  

Charleston  Joe Goff - Joe graduated from West Virginia State College with a degree in Political Science and has a MBA from the University of Charleston.  Prior to employment with R. L. Laughlin Joe worked at a heavy equipment dealership for 8 years where he gained experience in product support, credit account management, and six sigma.   Outside work Joe enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.   He is married with two children, a two year old boy and a six month old girl. Shaun Snodgress - Shaun lives in Spencer, WV, graduated from Roane County High School and attended Fairmont State University.   He has

plans to marry Jessica Hiney on November 19th this year.  

Hartville Dawn Dobbs - was born and raised in Chicago, IL.   Moved to Canton, OH eleven years ago.   Dawn has three children, Kelly, Ken and Dylan. Ken is PVC in the U.S. Army, Dylan is a senior at Jackson High School and when not working out, Dawn acts as a chauffeur for Kelly. Travis Fawcett -lives in New Philadelphia, OH and has a 3 year old son. He likes to be outdoors and enjoys "four-wheeling".  He has also worked on motorcycles for the past ten years. Kaitlin McConaha – Kaitlin is from Dover, Ohio and graduated in 2011 from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in education.  She has two older brothers and a niece she adores!
