1 Corinthians 13:1-131 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Charity (1 Cor. 13), the rendering in the Authorized Version of the word which properly denotes love, and is frequently so rendered (always so in the Revised Version). It is spoken of as the greatest of the three Christian graces (1 Cor. 12:31-13:13).

Valentine's Day

In today's society love has come to mean just a purely sexual thing whereas when the Bible

was translated love was considered a far greater and deeper experience.

We have forgotten the true meaning of love.We are seeing the results of what love

has become to mean. Love no longer infers kindness, caring, and giving, but

the world considerslove to mean

what theApostle John describes in:

1 John 2:15-17.

Love Not The World

1 John 2:15-17

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

When you love as the world loves, your whole viewpoint of life becomes corrupted! You no longer care for your spouse as the Bible tells you to, but you attempt to get as much from your partner as you can. This is not love, but is lust! Where are you going? Are you growing in love or are you growing in lust? The translators of the King James version used the word charity instead of love. I believe that charity is a more caring and thoughtful word and they may have known how the word “love” was going to become corrupted.

Our World

The World TodayThe world is in the situation that it is in today because the love of many has waxed cold. They chose to love objects, money, things, and anything except God. The divorce rate is so high because people no longer love each other but lust for each other. Valentines Day has come to mean lust and lascivious day rather than love.

We are living in a day where there is very little true love, and a lot of the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, and the lust of the eyes. The financial situation that the world finds itself in is a result of the mixed up confused priorities of the world today. The world thinks that prosperity means the acquisition of wealth and power. Where is the thought that the true riches are found in the love of God, the love of your spouse, and the love of your family.

Many have confused the acquisition of wealth and power with the true riches that comes through true love.

Would the world today be in the mess that it is in if they had their priorities correct? If the bankers, politicians, business people, and everyone else put their love in the right place, they would not have the pain that they are having today.

The world has chosen to go after Satan's lead and decided that the love of money, the love of objects, the lust of the eyes and flesh are of more value than loving God, your family,and your neighbor as yourself.

If everyone would reject greed, lust, and lasciviousness, the world would be a better place. But the world chooses to be deceived by these Satanic tools and believe that the ways of the world are the way out of our financial mess.

Everything that you hear, see, and read about the “stimulus package” are nothing but lies! Both sides are lying to you!

God Loves and Cares for YouJohn 3:16-21

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The SolutionThere is only one solution and that is to ask for the Lord's forgiveness. We do not need to depend on our government but we need to seek the Lord and his divine ways. The government and all of their policies are of the world which will pass away. Satan controls all of the kingdoms of the world and has deceived the great majority that his wicked methods will get the world out of the mess that it is in.

If you would just repent of all of your wicked desires, wants, and lusts Jesus will hear you and deliver you.

Peter tells us to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the Holy Ghost.

When you join God's side, you will find that you will have peace while the world is crumbling all around you. Come to Jesus today.
