FOOD INNOVATION RETAIL STRATEGIES TECHNOLOGY
Every year, India Food Forum analyses and researches consumer
and market trends and puts together the most comprehensive
and concise capsule of themes and directions that affect the
market and your business. As the business landscape gets more
competitive and consumers get more demanding & unforgiving,
those with informed, first-mover advantages will have a clear edge.
This is the defining mission of India Food Forum, the foremost
outlet of India’s best-in-class practices in Food Innovation, Retail
Strategy and Technology.
Three structured exhibition zones and a powerful conference
keep you connected with the next big innovations in food
retailing, HoReCa and food technology and ensure that you
are empowered with the products and insights to maximise
the opportunities offered by India's vast consumer universe.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER & IN THE TECH-EMPOWEREDWORLD OF TODAY, THE CUSTOMER IS TRULY KING.STAYING AHEAD OF THE CURVE IS NO LONGER A CHOICE, IT IS AN IMPERATIVE.
KNOWLEDGEDear Friends,
As a country, we have not only made rapid strides in our manufacturing, industrial
production and infrastructure development, but also have worked on creating 'ease
of doing business' for corporates. The rapidly developing India is also a land of huge
opportunities for international consumer brands, who are developing robust
partnerships to offer more choice to Indian consumers.
For the past decade, India Food Forum has gathered key decision makers from every
part of the food supply chain to push for best-practices in food and grocery retail and
foodservice sectors in India. Every year, thousands of exhibitors, delegates and visitors
from India and around the world have collaborated to create new business
opportunities for not just domestic food brands, but also scores of foreign food and
FMCG businesses.
Our dream is to facilitate the evolution of India into a world power in food retail, and that
is not possible without the collective thought and effort of global experts, policy makers,
private enterprises and all those who have invested in the food & grocery supply chain in
India. India Food Forum 2017 will feature international pavilions of various foreign
trade bodies and countries, including USA, UK, UAE among others, alongside leading
food brands and retail concepts.
As Chairman of India Food Forum 2017, I invite all stakeholders of the food retail sector
in India to join the 10th edition of this mega confluence – India Food Forum – on January
31st to February 2nd, 2017, to share their innovations, their concerns and their
achievements with all the sectors and industries that are dependent on optimisation of
our food and grocery sector.
Our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has already spelt out his dream of a
strong, self-reliant nation through his visionary 'Make in India' campaign. As businesses
directly or indirectly connected to the food business, we should now take it upon
ourselves to imbibe global best practices, innovation and bold initiatives to become a
world-class food retail economy.
