The 23 Mobility Centres Are Quite Different

Strong Mobility Centres: many services proposed, strong experience in welcoming researchers, many researchers, strong involvement

Stable Mobility Centres: good offer of services and good experience, but staff availability somewhat too low and/or low support from regional partners

Developing Mobility Centres: the support and/or organisation has been set up only recently

Emerging Mobility Centres: not enough researchers and low involvement

Page 7: The French Network of Mobility Centres

Common Objectives

The more researchers attracted to the region, the better (see graphic « scientific » stays / Regions)

The organisation and Coordination of welcoming is to be improved: better for our Prefectures, Universities and Research Organisations, and local communities / administrations

The follow-up of former guest researchers is to be developed: not much contact with them, but with their former hosts
