The French Design Company is a designer and manufacturer of elegant and exclusive outdoor furniture with a "Made in France" design. The French Design Company is not only specialises in furniture, tables and accessories, but is also a pioneer in the field of modular sofas, designed as haute couture pieces with special attention to the finish and fine stitching in matching colours.
Laurence Dupin, owner and designer of The French Design Company, has created a new generation of outdoor furniture. He has succeeded in transposing the concept of "indoor sitting room" to outdoors, with imitation leather covers and finishes with fine stitching in matching colours which transcend their ultimate purpose and bring a touch of class and elegance to gardens and terraces all over the world.

Backstage
Sunbrella® fabrics are made from 100% bulk-
dyed acrylic. This gives them excellent UV and
weather resistance.
The fabric is treated with an anti-staining agent and includes a treatment preventing the build up
of fungicide.
While the cushions are water-resistant, we
recommend avoiding regular exposure to
extreme conditions, to extend their lifespan.
Care : simply brush clean, or machine wash at 30° C, if necessary.
Les tissus Outdoor Sunbrella® sont réalisés à partir de fils 100 % acrylique teintés dans la masse. Ceci leur confère une excellente tenue aux U.V. et intempéries. Ils possèdent un traitement exclusif « Glen Raven » pour éviter toute pénétration de taches ou de corps gras. Les coussins ne craignent pas les agressions temporaires du monde extérieur, cependant nous vous recommandons, pour les préserver pendant plusieurs années, de ne pas les exposer trop régulièrement à des conditions extrêmes. Les mousses utilisées pour la confection de ces coussins ont des particularités différentes. Pour les coussins d'assise la mousse est en Polyethane 330H et a une densité de 33kg/m3, alors que pour les coussins de dossier la mousse est en Polyethane 300S avec une densité de 30kg/m3
Le bon geste : nettoyer par un simple brossage ou par un passage en machine à 30° C, si nécessaire.

What are Nautic Fabrics?
• Nautic Leather
Imitation leather based on PVC, specifically developed for outdoor use )= imitation leather on
boats(. Nautic Leather is mass-coloured, UV-resistant and does not fade under the influence of
light or sunshine. The fabric is watertight and resistant to water from swimming pools and
seawater.
• Nautic Fabric
100% olefin fabric and watertight. Specifically developed for outdoor use. Nautic fabrics are
mass-coloured and UV-resistant. Do not fade under the influence of light or sunshine. They are
made watertight by a PU coating on the back, and are resistant to water from swimming pools
and seawater.
Which teak does The French Design Company use?
The French Design Company only uses teak of the very best quality, from trees that are 60
to 80 years old originating from environmentally friendly forest management.
The French Design Company works with the IndonesianTrees4Trees non-profit foundation
that empowers local communities by means of cooperation initiatives relating to
reforestation, while also providing training programmes. The foundation's activities are
financed by contributions from participating producers who contribute financially to
replace the trees they use in their products.
Teak is resistant to UV radiation, chlorine and water, while being easy to clean and 100%
recyclable. When left untreated a natural grey patina originates. To avoid this you can use
specific care products such as Teak Cleaner.

bois, les rayures dues à l"utilisation, etc. Pour un usage non domestique, tel que l’hôtellerie et les collectivités, tous les produits de marque The
French Design Company sauf les housses de coussins et tissus sont garantis deux ans. Cette garantie est offerte dans les mêmes conditions
que celles précitées. Pour toute réclamation, veuillez prendre immédiatement contact avec notre représentant ou directement avec nos
bureaux et, si après révision du produit il s’avère qu"il s"agit exclusivement d’un problème de fabrication, The French Design company Corp. décidera

against any manufacturing defect that affects their suitability for use. This

not apply to faults or imperfections resulting from the passage of time or
normal wear and tear. Circumstances not covered by this guarantee include,
but are not limited to, the fading or change in shade of colours, changes in
wood texture, scratches resulting from use, etc. For non-domestic use, by
the hotel and catering industry and collectives for example, all The French
Design Company brand products, except cushions, covers and fabrics, are
guaranteed for a period of two years, This guarantee is subject to the same
