Silver Sage Golf Club Championship The Silver Sage Golf Club Championship is open to all members of the Idaho Golf Association. Players are required to have base access. This Championship will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play under the USGA rules of golf. Play begins at 9 AM on Saturday, September 14, and will continue with tee times on Sunday, beginning at 7:30 AM. The entry fee is $50 for members. Applicable cart and green fees apply. Night Golf 2 Person Scramble Join Night Golf on September 27 at the Silver Sage Golf Course! This is a 2-person, 9-hole event. Each player gets glow gear and balls with a prize drawing at the end of each event. Tee off is at dark (15 – 30 minutes after sunset). The cost is $25 per person; please register by September 25.

St. Alphonsus Health Care Occupation WorkshopOn September 17 from 9 – 11 AM, AFRC will be hosting a St. Alphonsus Health Care Occupation Workshop. There will be an overview of St. Alphonsus and common health professions, with resume and interviewing tips.

Finance: Ditchin’ the DormsSingle Airmen looking to move out of the dorms are encouraged to join this briefing on September 24 at the AFRC from 12 – 1 PM. This program is designed to help Airmen develop a financial plan for moving out of the dorms and provide them with local information and resources to make a successful transition out of the dorms.

Private Sector Resume BasicsOn September 24, there will be a Private Sector Re-sume Basics class at AFRC from 8:30 – 11:30 AM. This workshop discusses the resume process and is designed to help you organize your experience and skills to create or update your professional resume. Please bring a notebook and pen.

Family Float *Float down the Snake River with Class II rapids on September 1! ODR provides the transportation and rafting gear. Minimum weight is 50 lbs, and 6 years or older; ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $30 per person.

Boise 3-D Archery Target Range Trip*Join ODR on their trip to the Boise 3D Archery Target Range Trip on Sep-tember 8! The cost is $10, equipment is not included, and transportation is provided. The trip is leaving ODR at 1 PM and returning around 6 PM. This trip is for ages 12 and older, ages 18 and under must have a parent present.

Kayaking Pool SessionsLearn to properly paddle, brace, roll and exit your kayak in the safety of a warm swimming pool on September 9 & 23 from 3 – 6 PM. The cost is $5 per person. Ages 12 and older are invited to come; ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Fast Lanes*Outdoor Rec is going to Fast Lanes in Boise on September 10 & 24. The trip leaves ODR at 4:45 PM, and returns around 10 PM. The price is $20 for those R4R eligible and $45 for all other participants. Transportation is included in the price. Participants must be 18 years old or older, and have a valid driver’s permit or license.

Hells Canyon Multiday Rafting Trip*Sign up for this incredible 4 day trip to Hells Canyon: the deepest gorge in North America! The price is $375 per person, you provide lunches and camping gear, and ODR provides everything else. Must be 18 years old or older.

Night Shoot *Night Shoot is at Trap and Skeet on September 13! Trap, wobble trap, and skeet will all be available. Normal range fees apply.

Sporting Clays Event *This 2-day Sporting Clays Event will happen on September 26(10 AM – 6 PM) & Sept. 27(10 AM – 5 PM) at the Trap and Skeet Range. The rounds will be of 50 targets for $14 a round. Ages under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There will be guns avail-able for rent and ammo available for purchase.

Give Parents a Break (GPAB) is an Air Force Aid Society program for respite care for deployed families or parents

that may be facing a crisis or challenge. Care is provided at the CDC and Youth Center one time per month at no cost to parents. Parents’ Day Out (PDO) is $20 per child on Satur-days, & a first come first serve basis. Parent notification of availability is Friday prior to PDO. Enrollment paperwork and payment arrangements are due Wednesdays prior to

event.

Families can get a certificate from the Airman & Family Readiness Center and sign up at either the CDC or Youth
