Do you make New Years Resolutions? If so, do you keepthem? Im not too big on New Years Resolutions, but I doappreciate the beginning of the year because it offers us achance for a mental refresh. It doesnt matter what happenedlast year, because this is a whole new year. A chance for a freshstart, a new beginning.

When you stop and think about it, though, isnt thatwhat we are offered each day as Christians? God offers us a

fresh start not only each new year, but each and every day.We are not dened by what happened last year, last week, oryesterday, because today is a new day.

This semester at UNITE we are continuing to exploreour place in Gods Story. Have you been keeping up with thereadings? Dont worry if you havent - this is a chance for anew beginning. Starting January 9, we are going to be startingfresh, a new semester, and discovering our place in The Story.

Come join us! We have a lot of opportunities for you toget involved this semester. Be sure to check out the calendar soyou dont miss out on your opportunity for a new beginning!

life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! This same God isalive and active today, listening, acting, pouring out grace andmercy on each of us! Gods grace extends to our daily foibles;our ups, downs, and most important, our response to Gods callon our lives.
