All the units are optimised with regard to easy installation. The results of the modular unit construction are compact modules, which are easy to handle. For ceiling installati-ons, these modules can be reduced in weight by removing the built-in components, in order to put it back in after the several modules have been mounted in the ceiling. Thus the modules are very convenient to install. Suitable support con-structions for ceiling installation works are already installed on the unit.

Besides the easy installation, the focus is on an economic operation of the unit. Due to the aerodynamically optimised alignment of the components, in combination with low pressure drops and fans with modern EC technology, a large energy saving operation is achievable. Furthermore a huge amount of energy can be saved by using the heat recovery system.

The can be operated very easily by utilising the control system. The control system guarantees the ener-gy optimised operation of all components.

Thus you will always find the suitable air handling unit for air flow ranges from 650m³/h up to 3.700m³/h.

hygienical standardsAll air handling units are constructed according to the European guideline VDI 6022. The casing is powder coated on the inside and outside surfaces (hygienically non-hazardous) thus it provides a high corrosion protection as well.

heat recovery moduleFor an energy efficient operation of the air handling unit you can select two different plate heat exchangers for heat recoverage. A cross-current plate heat exchanger creates economi cal, increased the level of heat recoverage for projects which have to be carried out within limited budgets. The counter-current plate heat exchanger is an optimal alternative if the highest possible energy efficiency is the main criteria. By utilising these heat recovery systems you can save heating energy without mixing air streams. For that reason this system can be used even when the extract ambient air is slightly contaminated by odours or other organic components.

electric heating moduleEach can be purchased with an electric heating coil. The power supply is 400V/50Hz. The heating coil is installed directly on the air outlet (supply air side) of the unit. Thus the required supply air temperature can be always achieved.

silencer (sound absorber)An optional silencer module can be ordered for the

- unit to further reduce the acoustic emissions in the ducting/channel networks.

Control system air handling units are equipped with

complete control system as standard. All field devices are installed on the unit. The controller as well as the operation panel is located in a separate control cabinet. This cabinet can be installed at any location where it is required. The wiring must be done on-site. The basic function of the

control system is an extract air temperature control. Further functions for energy efficient operations are included in the control system respectively can be

selected as an option (refer to ordering key). As an option they can be purchased without a control system as well.

Cooling moduleEach can be purchased with a chilled water cooling coil. The cooling coil consists of copper tubes withaluminium fins and can be installed directly on the air outlet (supply air side) of the unit. To prevent a condensate carry- over into the duct, the cooling module is equipped with an integrated drip separator.
