Christ Exalting

We believe that in all things the Lord Jesus Christ is to be honored and glorified. This

means that the things we say, the games we play, and the way we act is all to the glory of

God in Christ. (1 Cor. 10:31, Col. 3:17)

Gospel Proclaiming

We believe that the Gospel is of first importance and should be at the center of all Christ saturated ministry. We endeavor to live this out by reminding the teens in our care to proclaim the Good News to lost family and friends. We also encourage teens

to daily remind themselves of its power and to “preach” it to themselves. (Rom. 1:16-17, 1 Cor.

15:3-4)

Scripture Exclaiming

We believe the Word of God is inerrant, sufficient, authoritative and our only sure guide in faith and practice. This is practiced in our youth group by

sound and biblical preaching of God’s Word in our weekly gatherings and special events. (Ps. 19:7, 2

Tim. 3:16-17. 4:2, Titus 1:9, Heb. 4:12)

Fellowship Embracing

We believe that in planning special events and having fellowship after our meeting times will help teens further build godly

friendships and be challenged to greater holiness.

Parent Supporting

We believe that parents have been given the biblical mandate to raise their teens in the

“discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4). Our youth ministry sees itself as a partner and aid

to help carry out this command but not a replacement. We believe that discipleship is at the

heart of biblical parenting
