the Baptist was beheaded, he left to go to

an isolated place

People heard about Jesus leaving and

followed him to the

isolated place.

Jesus arrived and saw the large

group of people who had followed

him to the isolated place.

Jesus took pity on them and healed their sick people.

Jesus’ disciples told Jesus to send the people away to get their own food. Jesus told the disciples to give the people their own food.

Jesus told the disciples to sit on the grass and said

he had something

special to show them.

He then held up five loaves of

bread and two fish up high and

then thanked the God.

He broke the loaves, and

gave them to the disciples,

who gave them to the people.
