Why a feedback campaign?

• 2007 National Student Survey.

• The NUS Feedback Amnesty.

• Union and University had similar aims.

• Time to work together.

• Missions for student reps.

Aims of the campaign

• To find out what types of feedback our students are getting.

• Make students aware of the feedback they currently receive.

• To find out how students use their feedback to enhance their learning.

• To raise awareness of how feedback can be used.

• To encourage a dialogue about feedback.

•Enabled us to find out what kinds of feedback students were getting and how they use it to enhance their learning.

•Gave us meaningful evidence to use in the second stage of the campaign.

Criticisms

•Timing of campaign – relevant to first years?

•Difficulty engaging academic staff.

•Abandoning NUS Feedback Amnesty.
