• It was the year 2011 when Land Rover launched first compact model of its luxury brand Range Rove and instantly won praise and sales altogether.

• For its 2016 model, Range Rover has given Evoque a mid-life update with new diesel engines, alterations to the line-up and new technologies inside out. It is paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

• There are two variants available in 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, first one is the Td4 150 and the second one is Td4 180.

• The former one produces 147bhp/280lb-ft and consumes 4.4L/100km and the latter one produces 177bhp/317lb-ft and uses 4.8L/100km.

• Both of these engines are paired with nine-speed automatic gearbox, it may not be in best calibration but still it is one of the best.

• There are three trims, Pure which comes with a six-speed manual gearbox and two-wheel drive system which is available at a starting price of £34,234 and Td4 150 with nine-speed automatic gearbox with starting price of £38,218.

• The SE trim level gets a nine-speed automatic as standard and uses Td4 150 and Td4 180 diesel engine along with SI4 petrol engine. The Td4 150 SE starts from 41,183, Td4 180 priced at £43,819 and Si4 SE starts from £44,550.
