Once there was a very, very poor man who came across an abandoned farm.

He saved up his money,

He worked,

To reveal Poor Man looking at abandoned farm. He looks at his hand

He sowed his crops

And he made a beautiful farm.

Mix to him scything

.

Mix to him lifting a huge Cabbage

Mix to him sowing seeds

Mix to him ploughing.and he worked.

and he worked,

Mix to a wide shot of the farm. It has been extended, the cabbages arelarge and healthy, there are orchards full of fruit and wheat fields in the background. There is a lorry loaded with crates in front of it.

and reaped them.

Sound Action

Finally, the land started producing bumper crop after bumper crop, season after season.

And each time there was a crop, he would sell it and save the money he made.

Cut to a close up of the man counting money as the lorry behind him pulls away.

Cut to an interior shot. The Farmer is putting the money into a safe. The room is richly decorated

Cut to a shot of the lorry driving away laden with crates of cabbages

He would save and save and save.

Sound Action

So he took the money that he had saved and bought gold.

The Farmer closes the safe door

The lid is closed.

Fade up on a close up of a chest of gold. Gold coins are thrown into it.

Fade to black.

Cut to a close shot as it closes revealing that it is behind a rich looking portrait of the Farmerand his family.

After a few years, he became quite wealthy.

Then he put the gold in a box

Cut to night time exterior of the side of the farm house.The Farmer pops his head out.

Cut to close up of the crate landing and soil thrown on top of it. Fade to black.

Cut to a shot of the Farmer tipping the chest into a hole.

Cut to exterior wide shot of the farmer wheeling the chest in a barrow.

He pops his head back

and buried it on his farm.

Fade up on interior shot of the now old Farmer with his two sons beside his bed side

Fade to black

And one day, when he was quite old, he called his children to his bedside,

and he said, “Work the farm. And you will be rich beyond belief.

But, work the farm.”

And when he died, his children thought, “This crazy man. He spent all his life on the farm. We're not like him. We want to go to town, have a business, and do many things.”

So they abandoned the farm,

Fade up on exterior shot of Brothers on a golf course talking. (The background is a still) The background starts moving.

Fade up on the city street.

Fade to black

Cut back to show that the background is a poster on the side of a truck which drives out of frame to reveal the city

moved to town, and tried to earn their living. They tried and tried and tried, but they remained very poor.

came and asked,

And the eldest son said, “A little bit of money is worth a lot more than nothing, so yes, you can have the farm.”

And he sold it.

The Poor Man knocks.

and closes the door.Fade to black.

The older Brother takes the money...

The Brothers open the door. They are older and shabbier

One day, a man who was also very poor

“Would you please sell me your farm? This is all the money I have.”

Now this man worked the farm. And guess what happened?

Within us there is also a farm. It may be a neglected farm, but it is a farm.

And in this farm is a field, and in the field lies a buried treasure.

Cut to close up of the man opening the chest.

He stops

One day, as he plowed the field, he found the box filled with gold.
