Employment: White Star Tours Incoming WEF President May 2020 End of the Year Staff Celebration The Wilson Education Foundation (WEF) partnered with the Wilson School District to host an end of the year luncheon for all Wilson employees. The Hawaiian Luau themed event included delicious food stations prepared by our very own Food Service Department, live music from a 2018 WHS graduate, and a presentation to honor this year's retiring teachers, Carolyn Houtz and Sue Showalter. Bulldog Summer Blasta big hit withstudents!

May 31, 2019 was a great night atthe ball park to celebrate all thingsWilson! We were so excited tohonor our 2019 Sun Federal CreditUnion teachers of the year, RachelWeidenhammer and AllisonSpangler & the District ChampionWilson Baseball team! The JROTCWilson Color Guard presented thecolors and our high school TrebleChoir performed the NationalAnthem. Wilson students wererecognized for their academicachievement before the game.

are all Wilson teachers. With

support from the Foundation,

they worked together to create

a fun curriculum that

incorporated reading and

writing activities with I-STEM

experiences. Weekly themes

included Under the Sea, Science

Lab, Fairytales & Super Heroes,

Space, Nature & Bugs, Fun &

Fitness. Look for info about the

The Wilson Education

Foundation is proud to

provide funding for the

Bulldog Summer Blast. The 6

week program is designed to

keep literacy skills sharp and

help prevent the "summer

slide" by engaging students

over the summer months. The

camps are open to Wilson

students entering grades 1st -

4th. Scholarships are

available.
