With this card, your child may attend a Midnighter or Sunday crop free of charge twice a year and they’ll receive unlimited, free table time! *Some coupon restrictions apply. COPIC INTENSIVE CLASS SERIES In this comprehensive two part class you will learn from our Copic Certified Instructor, Carol, how to go from novice to expert in the use of Copic Markers.   Each student will be given a comprehensive 12 chapter manual with detailed chapters explaining all information covered in the class.  Such a valuable resource to have for future use!  Class fee covers both classes and the manual (binder not provide COPICS-THE BASICS: In this class we will share with you our experience and knowledge of Copic Markers. Why are they different? How do you buy them? What colors should I choose? We will work together to answer all your questions, while we enjoy time together stamping and coloring. Together we will cover all the basics, plus coloring techniques, caring for your markers tips and tricks tutorials. Discover the world of Copic Markers while taking this class. Check back in January. COPICS-THE NEXT LEVEL: Now that you have completed THE BASICS Copic class, join us while we take your knowledge of Copic Markers to the next level. We will learn to color skin and hair, as well as jeans and clothing types. You will learn about shadows and light source too. How to color monochromatic, fur and shiny objects will be discussed. So much information!! After this class, you will feel more confident in the use of your markers. WATERCOLOR STAMPING-PART 1: Do you love the look of a soft watercolored image? Need a new love or obsession in your life? This is it!!! I will be teaching a new stamping/watercolor class here at The Station. I am completely obsessed with my new little works of art! The beauty is that you don't have to be an artist or practiced stamper to create these pieces of art! I will take you step-by-step to create watercolor scenes that you will be proud to give as framed gifts to those special people, or as cute cards to those card worthy friends! You will create two watercolor scenes, with instructions to recreate each. We will be using the latest and greatest awesome designs by Art Impressions. Those of you who stamp with me know that I love this company! I am confident that you will absolutely love and enjoy this class! So bring your favorite adhesive, and we will supply the rest. TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: I'd like to invite you to a class taught by me…Tammy! It’s a monthly technique class in which we will be making a gorgeous, fun, tag every month. These tags can be kept, with your notes on the back about how you made and it and the products used or they can be displayed every month at home (they are lovely art pieces!) or they can given away as gift tags! Each month we will be using the

newest products available to teach you how to use them and each month’s tag will be appropriate to the season or holiday. Hopefully you’ll love the products used so much that you will want some of your own! The basics we ask you to bring to class are: apron, scissors, wet & dry adhesive, foam dots & sticky dots. DECEMBER: This month we will finish our journey through Prima's Finnabair lines.  Specifically her paints, there are three types...metal, glitter and sparkle. My goal is to show you how to use these paints in as many ways as possible. I am designing a pale blue winter tag and I think you will like it.  Join me as we have fun and discover! BIBLE JOURNALING 101- INTRODUCTION: In this intro class, we will cover the basics and purpose of Bible Journaling and how to incorporate art into your understanding of the Bible. A journaling Bible is NOT needed for this class, but if you already have one feel free to bring it! You will be introduced to the wide range of journaling Bibles, art materials (pencil crayons, stamps, stickers, cut-outs, etc) and the growing number of products available to help you illustrate your faith. Samples will be displayed to inspire your own creative journey. And finally, we will spend time creating one bible journaling page based off of a devotional and following the step by step outline provided in your handout. By the end of class you will have experimented with a variety of bible journaling tools and have started your own Bible Journaling journey! $20 Skill level: Any skill level. BIBLE JOURNALING-ADVANCED: In this class we will take an in depth look at the artistic side of Bible Journaling. Through hands on experimenting we will learn Page Composition (focal point/ color scheme & space), Page Preparation, Art Techniques (tools, tips & texture), and the use of different Art Mediums (acrylic paint, watercolor paint & gelatos). We will also touch on how to incorporate decorative designs, hand lettering and the print and copy method into your finished page. You will be sing the techniques taught in class to create a page based on the verse you have selected. Class supplies needed: A journaling Bible & favorite verse to experiment with. $20 Skill level: Bible Journaling 101-INTRO class recommended as a prerequisite . BIBLE JOURNALING-HAND LETTERING: In this class, we will learn the anatomy of a letter and the basics of faux calligraphy. We will also learn techniques to turn your own handwriting into a work of art! You will also learn the art of mixing fonts and how to incorporate alpha stamps or stickers into your bible journaling or hand lettering projects. By breaking down a selected verse, you will learn how to highlight the important words and get your point across. The use of decorative designs such as laurels, arrows, flowers, banners (& more) is a must to enhance important words and a simple way to add artistic flare to your writing pieces. $20 Skill level: Any skill level Thursday, December 21st at 10:00 AM & 6:00 PM

GARDEN CLUB: For our December Garden Club we will be shaping poinsettias. With a real Christmas feel to our pallet of greens, reds and golds these flowers will be center stage. I always plan a little extra something new to try, so look forward to finding out what that will be. Part 2: Design Theory In this class we will cover designing with color, structure, line and balance. We will discuss the use of a color wheel and a few basic rules of working with patterned paper. We will also cover the principals of line, scale, lettering, shape, balance and movement. You will learn how sketches can aid you in designing layouts from all kind of inspirational resources. We will finish up with a second two page spread. Saturday, January 20th following Part 1

Part 3: Finishing Touches This class will cover titles, journaling and all of the fun touches that make our pages appealing and complete. We will cover why and how to journal and brainstorm creative titles. We will touch on Copic Markers, inks, stamping, dry embossing and a number of other fun to-do techniques that will give you that finishing touch on your pages. Crop Room Guidelines

We very much enjoy being able to offer such a fantastic work space for all our customers and we hope that you enjoy the advantages we offer you. Please help us be able to continue offering these services by cooperating with the guidelines mentioned below. Thank you for helping us maintain a stress free and fun, place to be!

When there is a scheduled class or crop only registered participants are allowed to be in the workshop area. Please refrain from entering the area until the class is completely over. It is distracting to both the teacher and the paid students to have other people in the workshop area during classes. This means you cannot crop, layout photos or set up your gear during class time. Please wait until after the class has been dismissed to enter the workshop area.

Non BPC Cropper Members coming to crop during open table time will pay $2.00 an hour for use of workshop.

Any person occupying a seat at a crop or class must pay for that crop or class. There is no such thing as a “guest” at a crop or class who does not have to pay. If one exception is made, others would expect them and then there would be mass confusion and we would have too many people in the crop area, making it uncomfortable for everyone else that is paying to be there.

On Friday nights open crop time will end at 6:00 PM so that the staff has time to prepare the workshop for the Midnighter Crop.

For Demo Day this month I will be showing you how to use Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Kiss from Creative Expressions.  Glitter Kiss is a brand new way of applying a sparkling effect, without using adhesive. This product can be applied to a multitude of different surfaces including paper, fabric and more.  Glitter Kiss is so fine, you can also stamp with it. Once dry, the sparkling effect has no dimension and the mica fragments don’t fall off!  Each pot of Glitter Kiss comes with its own built in applicator.  We will be making a beautiful gift tag that will give your Christmas presents the right finishing touch.

February 16th, 17th and 18th This Jamaica Me Wanna Scrap Weekender will include games, prizes, make ‘n takes, and discounts! Saturday night dinner, snacks for Friday and Saturday evenings are included. Scrap time will be from 9 AM to Midnight on Friday and Saturday and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.

Karen’s Korner For me, Christmas is all about tradition and the many memories those traditions hold -- the decorations, the baking, and the celebrating with family and friends. Carta Bella's new line A Very Merry Christmas is so reminiscent of my childhood. The vintage illustrations of Santa, Christmas bells & ornaments, and Christmas

Kathie’s Karousel We received a total of 29 new Christmas lines this month, 29!!!  That’s a bunch. But by far my absolute favorite is Echo Park’s Wise Men Still Seek Him.   It's a beautiful paper collection. As much as I enjoy the fun and cute Christmas papers, it’s nice to find a Christian based scrapbooking collection. I just love all the sentiment/image cut outs included and I will actually use all 24 of the 2”  x 3”  size. If you are needing to make some quick Christmas cards, this would be the perfect paper collection because of all

the sentiment cut outs. This collection is done in muted greens, burgundy and cream which will be lovely for either your scrapbooking layouts or Christmas cards.   This is a very large collection that features 12 double sided 12”x12” papers, a 12”x12” element sticker sheet, a collection kit, 6”x6” paper pad, 8 different dies, enamel words and phrases, enamel shapes, a stamp set and 2 beautiful stencils.  This line is sure to be your favorite too.

Hey girls! I hope you are working hard on your Christmas cards. So all of you know how much I like the Archival brand inks, and that is what I encourage you to use.  But did you know that we

have small ink pads too?  Well we do...and now we also carry the Min i Ar ch iva l Ink Storage Tin. It holds 12 of the mini ink pads and is so convenient and portable.  I think they would be great to take to a card party or class, don't you?

(Please excuse me while I major fan girl) The HGTV hit TV show has captured every design lover's heart with the show starring Chip and Joanna G a i n e s . Tiffany’s Territory

The winter weather is right around the corner, maybe even closer! It is time to gather around and spend some time together all bundled up! Carta Bella has come out with a new line called Cabin Fever! This line is perfect for those family moments when you are all trying to stay nice and cozy warm. The line is beautiful! With an off white background and different shades of blues, greens, and red the papers just go perfectly together! The papers have different patterns on them, they remind me of the different patterns on Christmas sweaters that you buy! The line comes with so many different stencils and stamps. To top this line off the embellishments are just so darn cute! This line is definitely a must have!

Tammy’s Techniques I'd like to tell you about the pretty new embossing powders from Wendy Vecchi and Ranger.  There are 7 new vibrant colors to add to her previous collection. These colors coordinate with her Archival Ink colors. The color names are: Carnation Red, Sunflower, Leaf Green, Garden Patina, Forget-Me-Not, Cactus Flower, and Potting Soil. I can totally see these colors used for birthday cards and floral cards.  I've noticed that some of the newer paper lines coming in lately carry these same pretty shades. Pop in and see them, I think you will want one of each!!

Janice’s Journey Are you going on a trip, traveling across the country, or just like to write? We just got in the most beautiful leather journals. When you pick up the journal the journey starts with the soft supple leather cover. When opened the journal it contains 3 separate notebooks: one has lined paper, one has kraft paper for freeform notes, drawings or memorabilia and the third has cream blank sheets. In between the 3 notebooks are a plastic zippered pouch and a plastic sheet with room for credit cards, ID, stubs and smaller items. These journals come in light brown, dark
