Japanese Lessons

Our Japanese lessons will equip you with practical language and communication skills that you can start to use right away! Learning the local language while in Japan not only makes daily life easier, but also enriches your whole experience of Japan by opening new doors to appreciating its culture.

The lessons are taught online by native Japanese instructors using NOVA's teaching method. Students are divided by level and class sizes are small. Lessons can be taken from any NOVA school or from your own PC or tablet computer.

Teaching English

NOVA’s lesson format, common to all levels, ensures consistency, balance and a supported progression through the lesson stages. It allows new instructors to quickly become proficient in teaching a wide variety of students and ability ranges.

Due to the huge range of students studying at NOVA and also NOVA’s flexible lesson booking system, no two days teaching at NOVA are exactly the same, and each shift brings a different mix of lessons and students. As well as conversation lessons for adults and NOVA Junior classes for younger learners, NOVA offers a variety of special types of classes, courses and events.

Training & Teaching Materials

Even for those who’ve never taught before, the NOVA training program ensures that new instructors will be fully equipped to teach from their first day teaching solo. During initial training, which lasts for four full days, new instructors learn all the basics regarding lesson selection, planning, teaching and record-keeping, through seminar sessions, workshops, practical teaching experience, and extensive feedback. All lessons are supported with full-color teaching materials and other resources, all developed in-house and accompanied with guides for instructors.
