Organs

The following organs are used in the excretory system:

- Kidneys:

- Ureters:

The kidneys are the most important organs in the excretory system They clean the blood in the body.

These are tubes, that connect the kidneys to the bladder. Urine passes from the kidneys to the bladder through the ureters.

- Bladder: Urine is stored in the bladder. The bladder has the shape of a ball.

- Urethra: The urethra is a tube that carries the urine out of the body.

Urination

Our kidneys filter the blood and remove harmful substances through urine. Urine goes to the bladder through the ureters and leaves our body through the urethra.
