Customized revamping / debottlenecking for maximization of efficiency

of existing PET polycondensation plants with minimum investment.

This could also be applied for product conversions, such as from textile

to bottle-grade PET, alternative raw materials such as DMT or PTA or for

reduction of additive consumption.

Variyarn TM

Innovative, modular spinning system for flexible and efficient production

of specialities for filament yarn industry. The individually adjustable

operation parameters, an optimized melt process control and the highly

precise dosing are the ideal conditions for a modern, profitable

production of small batch sizes.1

EPC InsidePET ®

Pioneering technology, tailor-made process control software for PET

polycondensation plants. Intelligente software for automatic counter-

action in case of deviations in raw materials, for constantly high product

quality.



EPC PAtraction

In the food industry high quality requirements need to be fulfilled for PA6-

chips (extract content). Additionally, the recovery of lactam from the

extraction water needs to be performed which is normally only possible

at a high power consumption. EPC has developed a special extraction

process that turns one or other extractors into „multi-zone“ extractors.

EPC PAplant

New installation and reconstruction of polyamide plants for production of

PA6 and PA6.6 chips for downstream processing to textiles, technical

applications and engineering plastics. Besides of the constantly high

product quality, the process developed by EPC leads to a considerable

reduction in building and equipment costs.



EPC Cell

Alternative process for production of cellulose fibers. Together with a

renowned German textiles institute, a process for alternative production

of the spinning solution and of the cellulose spinning has been

developed.

EPC Varipilot

Continuous or batch-wise operation of pilot plants for polymer industry

(PA6, PA6.6, PET, PBT, PTT etc.) for small-scale production and

production of specialties, additives or masterbatch systems.

EPC Arselon

Process for production of synthetic technical, temperature and flame

resistant yarns (wet-spinning process in sulphuric acid with subsequent

washing and conditioning of the yarns, procuction can be performed as

endles filament yarn as well as for staple fibers.

EPC Aquantage

Waste water processing system for the polymer industry. The system is

outstanding because of the low operating costs, combined with a high

recovery grade of more than 80 % of the occurring waste water.



EPCat ®

New process developed by EPC for removal of hydracine sulphate from

spin bath solution for production of polyoxadiazol, by using the catalyst

„EPCat 05“ (developed and patented by EPC).

EPC Variplant

Polyester polycondensation technology and plant design in ‚single-line‘

process for capacities between 100 – 900 t/day as well as in ‚multi-line‘

process with capacities up to 2,000 t/day für production of bottlegrade

and textile PET qualities.
