Holiday countdownWith the holidays in full swing it is vitally important that we do all that
we can before the end of the year. Babies are dying every day and we
can stop it with just one gift of $1.80, $750 per-member average,
$100,000 and gifts of all levels.
Please use the next two weeks in December to make sure each divi-
sion coordinator recruits at least 3 club coordinators and makes at
least 1 Model Club ask.
Together, singular actions can make a big difference.
Holiday giving opportunity on Kiwanis website
What if your holiday gifts could save childrens lives? In more than 30 countries, women and babies are stilldying from maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT). Agift to The Eliminate Project this holiday season willhelp us eliminate MNT from the face of the Earth.
What better way to honor a loved one, business associ-ate or fellow Kiwanis member than to give a gift inhis/her name? Or include The Eliminate Project inyour own wish list: Tell your friends you wish to help
make the world better for others.
Making a holiday gift in someone's honor is easy.Simply click on the "Make a gift" link below and complete our secureonline form. You can also print, complete and return The EliminateProject gift/pledge form, designating "holiday" next to the "Gift" sec-tion. When you make a gift in someone's name, the individual will re-
ceive a postcard informing him/her of the gift made.
This holiday season you can make a difference. Give or ask for a
unique and meaningful gift that will help protect the connection be-
tween mothers and children.

Enjoy these fundraising ideas from Ohio:
a. Columbus Kiwanis held its second annual 5K run on Sunday No-vember 4, an event which supports its Model Club efforts for TheEliminate Project and has also been added as the clubs signatureevent.
b. Cincinnati Kiwanis, another Model Club, held an Angels andDemons fundraiser raising $675. The event featured a fall-themed buf-fet dinner, a silent auction, a Vampire cabernet with a $5 donation toEliminate for every bottle of wine sold, and a Costume Contest.Event coordinator Amy Zimmerman suggest starting small, finding a neighborhood venue and/or turning ahappy hour into a themed event that engages the community.
