announce our newest fund-raising event – The Elegant Elf Marketplace. This “shopping for

a cause” celebration will feature sixty-five unique vendors from around the world and is expected to draw several thousand shoppers from Atlanta

and the surrounding area. This not-to-miss holiday mart should be at the top

of your shopping list!

Marketplace ShoppingNovember 11 and 12, 2011

9:00 am – 7:00 pmExperience two full days of shopping in a festive, “winter wonderland” atmosphere. This event will bring together artisans and vendors from around

the world to sell their products at this exciting holiday gift market. Boxed gourmet lunches will be available

for purchase in the Polar Express Café. Holiday decorating demonstrations will take place during both shopping days. Designer Larry Lucas will share the season’s latest holiday decorating

secrets on Friday, Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m.

Breakfast with the ElvesNovember 12, 20118:30 am – 10:00 am

Saturday morning will provide a wonderful holiday treat for the kids. Crafts, entertainment, and breakfast

will start the day along with an opportunity to be photographed with some of the North Pole’s most

famous residents.

About the Sandy Springs SocietyThe Sandy Springs Society is a charitable

organization of women dedicated to improving the quality of life in Sandy Springs

by supporting non-profit groups in the community. The Society is the largest

philanthropic group in Sandy Springs and, since its inception in 1988, the membership of nearly 300 women has raised over two million

dollars to improve the lives of women and families in the community. One hundred

percent of the funds raised by the organization go back to the community in the form of

grants, which support non-profit agencies that promote social services, education, the

environment, heritage and the arts.

In addition to the Elegant Elf Marketplace, the Sandy Springs Society raises grant money through other annual fundraising events,

including Tossed Out Treasures “upscale resale” weekend held each year in March and the

Garden Tour each May.

Giving: Helping NeighborsThe Sandy Springs Society is proud to have made important contributions to the young City of Sandy Springs. Through projects like

the wildly successful 2005 "Town Turtles", funds were raised to purchase eleven city parks for Sandy Springs and develop the

Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green. For more information on
