• There will be a new ‘National Living Wage’. This means that from April 2016, employers
will have to pay all their workers who are over 25 years old at least £7.20 an hour. This will go up to £9 an hour by 2020.
• The amount of money that people can earn before they pay tax will get higher.
From April 2016, people can earn up to £11,000 before they have to pay any tax.

Health
Some people skip breakfast because
they think it will help them lose weight. But
research shows that eating breakfast can
help people control their weight. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. New
research says we need to look no further
than a speedy bowl of pre-packaged
breakfast cereal to give us a healthier, happier start to the day.
Some breakfast cereals are high in sugar and salt, but the up-side is that they are low in fat, high in energy and many are rich in fibre. A good breakfast cereal will also add
several vitamins and minerals to your diet as
well as the goodness of milk.
Breakfast is a very important meal because:
• Gives us energy so we can think, work and be active
