In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education’s Standards for Commercial Support, Educational Symposia requires that all Planning Committee, academic faculty members, and peer reviewer(s) involved in the development of CME content disclose financial relationships which have relevance to the CME content of the activity. An individual has a relevant financial relationship if he or she (or his or her spouse/partner) has a financial relationship in any amount occurring in the last 12 months with a commercial interest whose products or services are discussed in this CME activity, and over which the individual has content control.
The Planning Committee, academic faculty members, and peer reviewer(s) for this symposium were required to complete a Full Disclosure Form, and their disclosures, if any, are listed below. If relationships were identified, those Planning Committee and/or faculty members, and/or peer reviewer(s) attested that such relationship(s) would not cause them to be commercially biased. In addition, each has signed a Resolution of Conflict of Interest form agreeing that, when developing or presenting content discussing healthcare products or services with those manufacturers or providers with whom he or she (or his or her spouse/partner) has a relevant financial relationship, they will: (1) use the “best available evidence” in the specialty or therapeutic area as support for any statements he or she makes about those products or services; (2) not make patient care or practice recommendations based on his or her “clinical experience” only, although he or she may indicate that a particular product or service is utilized in his or her practice; and (3) not express a personal or professional preference for those products or services.
Faculty members have been advised that if their lectures will include discussion of off label or investigational use of any product, they must disclose this to the audience.

TARGET AUDIENCE
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
ACCREDITATION
The ENRS 28th Annual Meeting is targeted to academic and private practice neuroradiologists in the Northeastern United States and Canada who have an interest and background in the diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, brain, spine, otolaryngology, and neurointervention in both adults and children, and the meeting is equally targeted to physicians-in-training including residents and fellows who are pursuing radiology.
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to: • Review MR Perfusion and MR proton spectroscopy in brain tumor; pediatric brain and pediatric head and neck; spinal tumors and spinal infectious and inflammatory disorders; the work-up for hoarseness in ENT and the top 5 missed diagnoses in the head and neck. • Demonstrate greater knowledge of imaging and management of acute stroke in adults and children, vasculopathies, and the basics of vessel wall imaging. • Apply conventional and advanced neuroimaging methods to the diagnosis and treatment of neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the spine. • Be able to understand the work-up and imaging needed for spinal interventions and biopsies. • Be able to discuss and apply updates regarding neurointerventional procedures in the head and neck, brain, and carotids as well as in the neurocritical care setting. • Demonstrate greater knowledge of advanced imaging techniques in brain neoplasm, neurodegenerative disorders, and demyelinating diseases including DTI, MR perfusion, spectroscopy, T1 Rho, and resting state connectivity. • Better comprehend standard and advanced imaging protocols in neonates and children for the diagnosis of non-accidental trauma, brain neoplasm, spine disorders, congenital malformations, and acute neurotoxicity with special focus on the utility of DTI and SWI.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
Physicians: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of Educational Symposia and the Eastern Neuroradiological Society. Educational Symposia is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
