The National Market was what

Invention of the Cotton Gin Machine used to separate

cotton seeds from the fiber.

Made the process a lot faster therefore making cotton more profitable and calling for more slave labor

The Cotton Gin

The Cotton Gin had a good and bad side.

The good was that cotton was made more profitable and it was easier to process.

The bad thing was that this allowed farmers to plant more cotton and this would increase the need for slavery.

The Steel Plow

The invention of the steel plow really opened a lot of doors for agricultural inventions to grow.

Many different inventions such as cultivators, and tillers, were based and evolved off of the original invention of the steel plow.

implement to harvest

Nativism

Many citizens were not happy about the foreigners moving into the United States and taking jobs that would otherwise be there for them and their children.

It was common for foreigners to be mistreated by United States Citizens because for lack of another word they were jealous.

Nativism

I understand where the American Citizens were coming from, but they way they treated the foreigners was wrong.

The Americans went as far as physical harm and murder to deter foreigners from taking jobs in the United States.
