Harvest Fest 2014Harvest Fest was a big success! Harvest Fest is a night when BGS families and staff gather

at the school for dinner and games. Harvest Fest was inside this year because of the rain. Mr.

McDonough donated delicious food from Fratellos restaurant. Harvest Fest games includedthe donut eating contest, mini-golf, lollipop tree, pumpkin sweep, cookie decorating and acake walk. There was also face painting in the art room. A lot of past BGS students helpedout with selling tickets and running the stations. The baskets for the basket raffle were over-flowing! The raffle was exciting because there was so much good stuff in the baskets. Wethink the sports basket and the gift card basket were the most popular. Thanks to everyonewho helped out with Harvest Fest!

Once upon a time there werethree sisters who did not knoweach other yet. Their nameswere Safire, Eiran and Dia-mond. Their strongest powerswere: Safire- love, Eran- earthand Diamond- water.

One day they bumped intoeach other at a strange field,in a strange world called theElement World. They hungout together every single day.

Once they found out that theywere sisters and had the powerof all the elements, they weretold by Mother Nature thatthey were to keep the earth asafe place. Mother Nature istheir mother.

Their biggest enemy is JackFrost. He has the power of ice. They fight him a lot. Theykeep winning and putting himin the only element proof jail

on earth, but he is too strongfor the jail so he keeps escap-ing.

They are still trying to keepthe earth safe though, andthey are still practicing theother powers of the elements,so they could be good at thosetoo, so they can protect theworld.

Do you have a dog? Well if you want to teach your dog tricks then here are some ideas: Fetch-stop n go Focus Stay Speak, say pleaseIf you want more information, go to the website

www.atrickaday.blogspot.comI used this website to learn the following tricks. In order to teach your dog to speak, when your

dog starts barking at something, say speak and give him a treat. Eventually your dog will start barking as soon as you say speak.

In order to teach your dog to stay, hold a treat in front of him and make him sit. Then say stay andwalk away a few steps always facing him and saying good boy. Give him a treat when you walk

back to him. As he gets good at it, make the stays longer and try going into another room.
